Absolutely amazing hotel. Spotless lovely rooms nice beach. Above all what makes this hotel one of the best we have been to is the staff from upper management to the gardeners room cleaner. We have to special thank you 1st chef Ahmed from beach restaurant. A talented guy and all round nice man and assistant executive manager also named Ahmed. This man is always available if there are any problems. He has a very easy job never had one problem while we were there. Still a very nice polite man. If you choose this hotel you have made a perfect choice

“Ok for the price I guess”

Let’s start with the positive. It was pretty cheap, under a grand per person so that should have probably set my expectations. Room was fine. Bit bare but spacious. Let’s start with the positive. It was pretty cheap, under a grand per person so that should have probably set my expectations. Room was fine. Bit bare but spacious. Bathroom was a bit shabby and in need of update. Clean enough. Pool area was huge. No problems getting a lounger. Beach was lovely. The staff on the beach were the best. Food was not great. Defo on the lower end of all inclusive fair. I dont drink but my wife does. Waiters didn’t want to serve her if she was on her own. It’s probably a cultural thing but in this setting I don’t care about the culture. Mostly male staff. Other than the beach guys they were all pretty grumpy. Wife got sick twice from eating salad and fruit. I saw bar staff vaguely rinsing glasses so any bugs would be transferred that way. Everyone iso. The take in Egypt. I don’t know how the economy survives as nothing seems to have a set price. The shops at the hotel are awful and the me running them are creepy af . The airport is a nightmare with again everyone trying to take your money. Overall we had a lovely time as we were off work for a week and together but we won’t be returning and I suspect if we ever did go back to Egypt I’d pay double what I payed for this place for the chance of better food and service

Rooms Were spacious cleaning was average on a daily basis with areas being missed. Restaurants Food was repetitive daily in the main and beach resturant this also included the Italian and Egyptian a la carte restaurant, we had to send the Rib Eye Beef back at a cost of 16€ as it was so tough and was given the tenderloin beef at no charge but this was the same. On several occasions other guests mentioned that had "private" chiefs which they cooked whatever they desired... Best meal of the day was breakfast . Lobby bar We ordered our drinks and were served with someone else's drinks on three occasions. The lobby bar staff could not get it right so we avoided the lobby bar during our stay. Circle bar / Beach bar Again they could not get the drinks right which were too strong which we could not drink and sent them back they did not understand small measures and thought they were being clever and laughing. Spirits were of poor quality so much so we were drinking our duty free which we purchased from the duty free in the UK and buying Coke Zero from the supermarket on site. Manager of the head bars He was disrespectful towards his bar / pool staff and could be heard shouting at them in front of guests this included his under study, he made his authority presence in each of the bar areas. It costs nothing to be nice and he needs to be respectful towards his staff and spoken to by the hotel manager or given further training how to conduct himself at management level. Entertainment Well...I am truly speechless. Such an awful lot of noise and nonsense. The night started off with some good vocals, ended the same every night with the same dances. Once this had finished, music was played which was purely for the "entertainment " team showing off their hip hop moves. If I was to hear "tombola" once more I've heard it a thousand times. Do not fall into their trap. Staff Staff who went above and beyond: Shaaban- pool bar. Words cannot express how hard this amazing man worked. The fun and laughter he brought to the pool area with his singing and dancing was a breath of fresh air. I have never seen such a smile like his. WELL DONE SHAABAN. Christine the guest relation was always accommodating with her help and assistance. A true asset to the hotel. Departure When we checked out, we was given a questionnaire to complete. Yes a few home truths were told. Once handed in, reception staff appeared asking to explain our comments which they seemed to take on board. We was even given a goodie bag for our honest opinions.
