First time in egypt and this hotel was amazing...yes it is an hour from airport but once you get to hotel you forget about the travel time..the staff are amazing and there is so much to do on a night and during the day..and if you book last minute what we did yes they do take english money...but shops on site are expensive ...bring plenty of sun cream as the cheapest in the pharmacy is a tenner...but this hotel is amazing and I will recommend this 100% to anyone all i can say is brilliant brilliant ❤️ this and will be going back

I always feel it important to write a review as i myself always check other peoples reviews before booking. We are a couple in our fifties and we enjoy beach holidays and luxury stays and also some all inclusives. we Like Sandals and Beaches resorts. We booked this stay because we wanted a good value week in the sun knowing we would have sunshine and be able to swim in the sea. we booked through Tui and were pleased with the price of one week all inclusive. Flights from Cardiff were on time and airport departure was simple. we booked extra legroom seats which we found worth the price. Food options on board were not that good or varied but we knew in advance so purchased food items in airport prior to boarding. The transfer was fine. we chose to go with the TUI coach transfer which was included in price. it took around one hour and a quarter. we were the only drop off and the coach was air conditioned. Arrival at hotel was after midnight and we were very tired. we had requested a room on low floor due to knee problems i have. we were shocked to be allocated a room on top floor involving 4 flights of stairs and furthest away from everything. we refused to accept this room as i knew i couldnt cope all week with that amount of stairs. the reception at first told us they had no other rooms available. they then blamed Tui and said they hadnt been informed we wanted a ground floor room. The duty manager on reception told us to sleep in original room and come back the next day and they would see what they could do. i was not happy to do this and asked them to book us a taxi to Le Reve as we had stayed there before and thought they would probably have space to accommodate us. The supervisor told me to take a seat in reception and he would see if there was anything else he could do. Miraculously he then found a room for us on the ground floor but said it would take an hour to clean and prepare. we accepted this and eventually got our room around 0130 am. it was worth the wait as the room was delightful and bigger than we had booked. The men who clean the room are so thorough and our room had fresh towels daily and was always spotless. we took dollars and euros so we could tip staff. The highlight for us are the grounds of the resort as they are beautifully kept and so pretty. The Beach is amazing. The sand is not great but you can walk straight in to the sea ( no need for jetty) and the water is clean and refreshing. we could always get a bed on the beach. the watersports are fun and readily available. There is also a beach bar serving all sorts of drinks including cappuccino if like me you want coffee. The pools were always clean and lots of available beds. we chose the beach because we prefer it and also because we didnt have children with us and all the children seemed to stay around the pool with slides and entertainment. Before travelling i read reviews that said there was a problem with flies and mosquitoes. This worried me and i took loads of mosquito repellant with us. There was no need to worry as we honestly didnt see flies and the only time i got a mosquito bite was in the evening in the open air auditorium. The shows were somewhat lame in our opinion but the kids seemed to enjoy them. the hotel also showed the football on big screens of an evening for those who wanted to watch them. The food is varied and plentiful. our waiter mohamed Adel was always smiling and remembered our preferred drinks at every meal. He was charming and obviously happy to work there. My other half is a big meat eater and he always found lots he could enjoy. There was so much choice at every mealtime - fish, salads, pizza, pasta- spoilt for choice. i did have a funny upset stomach for one day but i put that down to having ice in my drinks at the beach bar. i went to the on site pharmacy and bought Antinel which worked almost immediately. There are also speciality restaurants included. We went to the Italian which was lovely to sit down and be served. The food was delicious and the service attentive. We also went to the oriental restaurant but we wouldnt bother with us again. The staff were nowhere to be seen and the food options wernt great. The food didnt taste very nice and we left feeling hungry. The journey home was awful. Flight was only 30 mins delayed but the whole airport experience in Hurghada is terrible. you have to put a leg up on a stool to be " frisked" - yuk! no paper or soap in any of the toilets. cabin crew chatting loudly all night long in forwards galley. i certainly wouldnt choose extra legroom seats at front on night flight again. The flight was somewhat turbulent over europe and seatbelt signs were on. On arrival at Cardiff airport it was 0245 and we were the only flight landing but it took over one hour for us to get our cases. nobody was there to give any information and nobody had a clue what was happening. to Sum up - if youre up for a long and somewhat painful journey then Hurghada is the place . You are guaranteed sunshine and this Hotel is lovely. the whole resort is spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, the food options great. The rooms very nice with comfortable beds and powerful showers. The beach quiet and just lovely. i dont think you will be disappointed if you book. Great value for money.

First and foremost I wanted to shout out the amazing Mymo mini club. My 4 year old really did have the best time and she is not one to go to a kids club. We spent the first half of our holiday going to the kids disco each night and even though she’d not been to kids club, Viktoriia and Janette were amazing with Harlie and gave her a big cuddle every night. To our amazement, she asked to go to the Mymo club and it absolutely made her holiday. The programme was so much fun and she was full of beans at the end of each session. We’d return for the kids club alone!! What an all round amazing hotel though, something for everyone, can be active or chilled. Food is probably the best all inclusive I’ve had and the drinks were great! All staff are so lovely. Cats are everywhere and they are looked after by the hotel which is nice to see, although some do fight which is sad, be good to know if any get veterinary treatment as a few were injured from fighting. I did horse riding a couple of times with Yalla Club which was also brilliant. We would definitely return to this hotel, it was just great!

Our holiday was nothing short of magical! ❤️ This was our fourth visit, and every single time we leave already planning our next trip. There is honestly nowhere else in the world where our whole family has such an amazing time together. Our girls are absolutely obsessed with this place, and a huge reason for that is the Mymo Kids Club. It is beyond words. The team is the most caring, loving, and genuinely wonderful group of people we’ve ever met. Every day is filled with new, creative, and innovative activities, and they make every child feel so special. Our girls become so attached to the staff every visit, and saying goodbye is always the hardest part. As parents, there’s nothing better than knowing your children are having the time of their lives while you can also relax and enjoy your holiday. It’s the perfect balance for the whole family. Everything about this resort from the atmosphere and service to the memories it creates is exceptional. It truly is the best family holiday destination we’ve ever experienced, and after four unforgettable stays, we can confidently say we’ll keep coming back again and again.
