A pleasant hotel with a great location in Dahab Bay. The beach area is well-maintained. The food is quite varied and delicious for Egypt. The staff is polite, smiling, and unobtrusive. I'd especially like to mention the excellent animation team – they start the entertainment program at 10 a.m. and come up with a variety of activities. I'd also like to mention the sandy beach and the clear, very calm sea.

We spent our last (2026) Christmas and New Year holidays at Dahab Lagoon Club & Resort hotel, Egypt, Dahab — my wife, our 13‑year‑old son, and me. We’ve been coming to Dahab for 15–20 years, almost every year, because for us it’s the perfect place for windsurfing and relaxation. Over the years, we’ve stayed in almost every hotel around the Dahab lagoon, so we have a good sense of what to expect. This hotel truly impressed us. The territory, the rooms, and the overall service were all very good, but what touched us the most was the restaurant experience. The food quality was consistently high, and the variety of dishes was more than enough to satisfy guests from different countries and tastes. The restaurant service was exceptional. Executive Sous Chef Mr. Abdel Maula was always present in the guest area, personally checking the assortment, quality, and availability of the dishes. Even when we didn’t see him, we could feel his attention to detail. During our 12‑day stay, I didn’t notice a single issue worth mentioning — everything was simply excellent. Thank you, Mr. Maula! We also want to highlight the work of the front office team. They did everything possible to make our holiday comfortable and enjoyable. A special thank‑you to Mr. Alaa Anies, Assistant Front Office Manager. It was our first time at Dahab Lagoon Club & Resort, and thanks to his guidance and care, we felt completely at home. The Hotel is in a great location for watersports. Hotel staff are friendly and kind, the hotel and grounds are kept clean, the beach and surroundings are stunning. However, the hotel provide the bare minimum All Inclusive. I wouldn't describe this as a family hotel. There is no kids pool and there's very few food options for kids, even ice cream is not included. If your kids are fussy eaters this is not the hotel for you. There is a very basic kids club. It is not clear what is actually included in All Inclusive, there are no menus to show what drinks or food can be ordered. After asking we found snacks are limited to french fries and hot dogs, which are only available for 2 hours a day between 3pm and 5pm. Drinks are served in a tiny, flimsy disposable plastic cups, similar to a cup you would give a child at a party. There are no self service snacks or drinks like other all inclusive resorts, and again no ice cream for kids. The serving size of the 'snack' of chips they provide is very small and minimal and drinks are very small ( a can of beer would fill 3 of the cups they provide!) There are pizzas, burgers sandwiches and ice cream but for an additional charge. Rooms are kept clean but are very dated, and need refurbishment. We had a family room but we're only ever given 2 room towels between 3 of us despite asking for more. We were provided with one bottle of water per person each day. If you want more water it's available in the restaurant or served in very small plastic cups at the bars. They do not provide any additional sealed bottles. Staff constantly disturbed you when on the beach relaxing to ask you to go to the spa, diving, and take part in aqua gym or volleyball. It was disappointing how much plastic waste is produced by the hotel, with little regard for the environmental implications.
