I booked this hotel last minute when I realized that I had made a mistake on my flight and I had an extra day in ES. So glad I did. It's a nice, clean, quiet property. We had a comfortable king room, used the pool area once it got dark, when to the bar for a night cap and slept like babies. We had used the afternoon to go on a "layover tour" with ecopetate tours ( different review) and had a great time. But the best thing was breakfast, that we liked so much, we had twice. First day included freshly made omelette, and I was looking to get the exact same thing the next day but they upped the ante with freshly made pupusas! Of course they were flying off the grill! But the nice lady flagged me down and told me when mine was ready! 10 out of 10 Quality Hotel Real Aeropuerto!

“An OK hotel, close to the airport”

Typical Quality hotel, which has the advantage of being close to the airport. The shuttle had stopped operating by the time our plane landed, so we had to book an Uber. Typical Quality hotel, which has the advantage of being close to the airport. The shuttle had stopped operating by the time our plane landed, so we had to book an Uber. Shuttles to the airport start at 5.00 am and are every half hour until 8.00 am when they run every hour, again didn’t fit with our timings, but Uber served our needs. Breakfast was very nice with a decent choice of buffet items. Papusas were a plenty and very nice. There is a nice pool area, but we did not use it. The hotel could do with some updating and a little TLC, but ok for a pre or post flight.

The hotel has worn down with time and needs a lot of improvements with its infrastructure. Some years ago this hotel felt very exclusive. The hotel has worn down with time and needs a lot of improvements with its infrastructure. Some years ago this hotel felt very exclusive. Now it is just as any low expectations Quality Inn Hotel anywhere in the U.S. The staff were very polite and helpful. The driver very friendly and attentive. The front desk agent was very helpful. A suggestion: The hotel could provide a much better uniform presentation to its front line employees. The room: I was given a room at the first floor near the pool area. "DO NOT TAKE ANY ROOM" at this floor. It was a carpeted room with a very moldy smell. I had to request a room change. Then I was given a room on the third floor. This room was very basic but you could see that the walls and the bathroom need improvements. The tub had stains and felt not so clean. The TV in the room is not a smart tv. There are no pamphlets of hotel info in the room. Pillows had hair in them. The good thing was that this room was not carpeted so no moldy humid smell. The bed was comfortable. The windows are not sound proof so you could hear the music and the people laughing and talking by the pool area. The price for drinks at the "Hangar" are way OVER PRICED. A double shot Margarita price was $18. OUTRAGEOUS PRICE! And it was not even good. LEARNED MY LESSON for ordering something before asking how much it will cost. I hate making a seen so I did not say anything since there was already a couple asking for all kinds of food request. Very informal the way things were dealt with but seems like the staff was trying to satisfy them as customers. Again, Some years ago my experience was of a more exclusive hotel.
