“Excellent city centre option in pricey Helsinki!”

Really great option for a reasonably priced hotel bang in central Helsinki. Fantastic breakfast ( strawberry-rhubarb AND blueberry juice! Home made baked beans!) , comfy bar area, helpful staff. I'd definitely stay here again.

What a fantastic hotel! The location could not be better, it’s just a one minute walk to the trams (so incredibly easy to get to West Harbour if you fancy a day in Tallinn), five minutes walk to the station and close to all the central sites. The hotel itself is gorgeous, bustling, clean and friendly. Our room on the 5th floor was a good size (I loved the unusual layout) and my son and I didn’t feel like we were hemmed in or anything, it was perfect, and I loved the view from the window of all the other windows! Felt quite futuristic. We had an early flight on the last day and the hotel really kindly provided a breakfast bag for us when we checked out. We also appreciated the things like the use of slippers, umbrella etc. Breakfast was really varied (the cardamom cake was INCREDIBLE, have been trying to recreate it at home since we got back), and the one night we ate at the hotel we had very tasty loaded hot dogs. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again the next time we come to Finland.

I was very happy with my experience in Hobo. The location is very central, but my room had windows towards the inner yard, so the only noise I heard from outside were some birds. They upgraded me to a very big room, so I don't know how their normal rooms are like. Besides the beds, the room had a divan-type coach, a little table and some benches. There were a separate wc and shower/bath. The shower was just behind a corner, with no door. Otherwise it's ok, but it might feel a bit cold in the winter. My only real complaint is the fact that the wifi is without password, so I couldn't connect my work devices (data security issue). The breakfast buffet had a lot of options, including some not so typical ones. Very good start for a day. Check-in and check-out were efficient and the staff were friendly.

“Comfy stay in the heart of Helsinki”

Excellent location, clean rooms, great food and gym is compact but has everything needed for a good workout. Bar is cosy.
