I stayed at the NH for a weekend in May and had a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the central station and the Old Town, making it easy to explore the city on foot. We were able to walk everywhere. The check in process was smooth and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel also left a box of chocolates in our room as a welcome gift, which was a lovely touch. Our room was spacious, spotless, and exceptionally quiet. The soundproofing was excellent, and we didn’t hear any noise from the hallway or neighbouring rooms throughout our stay. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection of options. This hotel has also one of the best gyms I have seen in a hotel. There were only a couple of minor drawbacks. The pillows in our room weren’t particularly comfortable, and the shower had very low water pressure. Aside from those small issues, our stay was wonderful, and I would happily recommend this hotel to others.

Our stay at NH Hotel Helsinki was simply the extraordinary. From the very first moment until our departure, every detail of the experience reflected true excellence, professionalism and heartfelt hospitality. The breakfast was an exceptional culinary experience — full of rich, nuanced flavors and beautifully presented selections that exceeded every expectation. The gym was truly world-class, offering premium facilities that elevated our stay even further. The sauna and spa area was an absolute gem at the heart of the hotel: peaceful, luxurious, and perfectly designed for complete relaxation. Our room was elegant, beautifully styled, and filled with thoughtful details that created both comfort and sophistication. Every aspect of the environment felt carefully curated to provide a seamless and memorable guest experience. Our warmest gratitude goes especially to the staff. Their genuine kindness, attentiveness, and outstanding hospitality made our visit absolutely perfect. Nothing was too much, and nothing was too little — every interaction felt authentic, caring, and deeply considerate. The entire service journey was flawlessly refined from beginning to end. You provided us the finest hotel experience we have ever had. Every element of a true luxury experience was fulfilled, creating something genuinely unique and unforgettable. We used our American Express platinum hotel rewards because we wanted a first class hotel in Helsinki. The service here is five stars! Jenna at the front desk, Bond in the bar, and both concierges exemplary what customer service can and should be. The location is so central we could walk to almost everything. The breakfast is all locally sourced with lots of choices and everything delicious. However, it just falls short of five stars for a few reasons. We were told we were upgraded two levels, yet our room was small and looked out over a MacDonald’s. Although it was very comfortable—great bed!—we wondered how small our original room would have been. It did have good blackout curtains for the bright June nights. Oddly, when you enter you have to drag your bags up a lot of stairs; there’s no ramp. An employee saw us struggling and rushed to help. They offer a free voucher for “your favorite drink” if you forego housekeeping. But when we went to claim our favorite drinks, they pointed out very tiny print on the back that states we could have a small beer, a glass of house wine, or soft drinks. Hardly “your favorite drink,” which is in BIG letters on the FRONT. To keep good will, maybe they could extend the voucher to a cocktail too? Or eliminate the gimmick? With all this in mind, we would definitely stay here again and probably request a different room and get the housekeeping! The truly wonderful staff made this time here memorable.
