Visited recently for a 2 night stay when in Helsinki for a football match. Check was seamless. Very quick. The hotel is a very short distance from Central Station and so the location is incredible. Room was quite small but had all we needed for a short stay. It was very clean and well presented. Bathroom was small but again had all we needed including shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and soap. We were asked at check in if we wanted the room cleaned everyday - which we did. Breakfast was fantastic. There was a huge selection and everything you could want. It was a little busy but it’s a busy hotel. Price was more than reasonable for a new hotel in an expensive city. If I ever return to Helsinki, I would have no hesitation staying here.

We stayed for 1 night. The location is great (just a 5min walk from the station, on the edge of a lovely park) and the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and ran until 11 so we didn't need to hurry in the morning. The staff were very friendly. My only issues were that the matrass was a little to soft and that there is a (frosted) window from the bathroom to the bedroom

Overall, the hotel had a great location, a good gym, and a sauna, but the takeout breakfast on the last day was extremely disappointing. Overall, the hotel had a great location, a good gym, and a sauna, but the takeout breakfast on the last day was extremely disappointing. A tiny sandwich, a banana, and a cheap drink were completely unworthy of the price we paid. The restaurant manager should try it yourself. I don’t think the takeout breakfast matches their Radisson Red brand.

I have to say that, despite a lot of the rave reviews I read before booking, I was very underwhelmed with this hotel. It wasn't a bad one, but it left much to be desired. There were some positives. The location, right near the central station, was perfect. Great for walking around or taking the tram if necessary. I also really enjoyed using the sauna every night. Great for unwinding after a long day of activities. However, everything else was a mixed bag. The checkin process wasn't great. After having earned the next tier in the Radisson rewards club, I was entitled to a room upgrade. I got one in the end, but it meant that I didn't get an early check in. A bit of a disappointment, but not the worst thing in the world. The room itself was nice and large. However, it didn't get sufficiently cool at night and the view of a bunch of buildings in a courtyard was subpar. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but I did manage to sleep well every night. The bathroom was very disappointing. There was no hand soap or a bar of soap to wash with, so I had to get some of my own to use. The drain in the shower was clogged, so the floors would flood after I used it. Housekeeping did eventually come in and fix it somewhat, but it just flooded less, not ended it entirely. Breakfast was very disappointing. Not only was the selection quite small and the food a bit bland, it was also difficult to find things that I wanted like juice. There was more than enough seating, so that was good. Staff was generally good and they did their best to help me with issues I had. However, the most upsetting thing about the hotel is the lack of regular housekeeping. I didn't realize that there was "light" housekeeping when booking the hotel. When I found out about it when I arrived, I was very upset. I didn't end up having it done on my trip, but if I had known about it in advance, I would not have booked this hotel. Housekeeping should be a daily thing in any hotel. Even if to just freshen things up and clean out garbage cans, having someone check in every day is what separates a hotel from an Air B&B. That should be communicated more clearly or it should be easier to request regular housekeeping rather than having to call down to the front desk every day to ask for it. Overall, while I wouldn't say that I had a bad stay, the negatives were enough to dissuade me from recommending this hotel for anyone else in the future.
