Very convenient for the Cite ( about 10 minutes walk). Lovely staff. Good pool. Rooms need a bit of TLC but are perfectly adequate & the small kitchen is a bonus. Very convenient for the Cite ( about 10 minutes walk). Lovely staff. Good pool. Rooms need a bit of TLC but are perfectly adequate & the small kitchen is a bonus. Breakfast was typically French & plentiful. We'd have liked fresh fruit salad rather than whole fruits but that's a minor thing. Our only real quibble was the WiFi, advertised as High Speed it kept dropping out every few seconds & asking us to sign in each time. Early morning I sometimes managed a whole 15 minutes before it dropped, other times it was literally 30 seconds. I'd taken my Fire Stick hoping to relax with some streaming but no chance. The TV did have an option for USB so I'd suggest anyone who might need entertainment to take stuff downloaded to a usb stick. We'd still consider it if we were on an independent trip a the parking looked generous.

Disappointing to be honest. We got an excellent price for a week in September and all looked good on the website. The website pics however looked nothing like the reality. The apartment was shabby and dirty in places where internal pipework hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. Reception made a big issue of cleaning kitchen on departure or we would be charged. They never warned us that the delph and cutlery provided was sadly lacking....suppose it was less to clean. Curtains in both rooms were hanging off the rails at both ends and no hooks to fix them so light was flooding in a little early for holidays. Breakfast was extra and was very expensive. Location was a half hour walk from Carcassone itself and even though nearly to La Cite that option was a bit touristy in its choices for evening meal. Next time I visit Carcassonne I am going all out and book a hotel in the centre of the city.

I was not very satisfied with my experience at this hotel. I booked a room on their website at a discounted rate, but for some reason, I had the impression that I was assigned one of the "worst" rooms in the building. The balcony was inaccessible due to being covered in pigeon droppings and neglected. The room was very basic and the hairdryer didn't even work. I couldn't ask at the reception because they were closed in the evening and there was no one around. Additionally, the next morning, the cleaning staff entered my room before checkout time without even knocking in. It's a pity since the property would be nice and in a beautiful location.
