We stayed here for Christmas 2025 as a family of 5, staying on D block. I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews, however we couldn’t fault the accommodation. The beds were comfortable including the sofa bed. We had a kitchenette, which meant that we could cook basic meals but we mostly eat out. We visited the restaurant Les 2 Mules which is part of the hotel and the food and attention to detail were fantastic. On our last morning we had issues with the taxi which Crystal ski should have provided for us. The reception team were so patient and helpful and got us a taxi to take us to the airport. We can’t recommend this place enough. Our apartment had a lovely view of the mountain and was very close to the Bossonet ski lift.

The hotel delivers on several fronts. It is as close as possible to the piste, offers large modern spa facilities, and provides spacious rooms with ample terraces overlooking attractive mountain views. The breakfast is solid and dinner has stylish presentation, attentive service, and high quality dishes. Reception services, however, require improvement. When we attempted to dine at the hotel and found it fully booked, we asked about alternatives. Reception suggested two restaurants that might have availability, but when we requested assistance with a reservation call, the response was a brief refusal with little apparent interest in helping. On one day we finished skiing early and returned to the room at 2pm to find housekeeping had not yet serviced it. Later, when we requested a late checkout, we received another short refusal, with no effort made to explore options or understand our situation. Given that housekeeping had not serviced the room until mid afternoon during our stay, we were surprised that a modest extension to noon could not be considered, particularly as we only required a brief shower before departure. After completing checkout at 8am on our final day, we asked whether we could continue using the ski locker until midday, well before the next check in time. This was again met with an immediate refusal, without any attempt to discuss timing or possible alternatives. When we asked how we were expected to manage ski equipment and change facilities, we were directed to the hospitality room without explanation. When my wife attempted to seek clarification in English, the response remained in French and the key was placed on the counter without explanation, which came across as dismissive rather than service oriented. Overall, while the physical product meets expectations, the service culture, particularly at reception, falls short of what one would reasonably expect at this price point, where a more solution focused and guest oriented approach would be anticipated.
