“Overall very positive”

The whole experience was very pleasant. The position of the hotel is perfect. The public areas are lovely but I feel the rooms could be refreshed a little.

“Affordable and Good Value Ski Hotel”

Stayed at this hotel on a half board basis, with my adult son for an early season ski trip from Dec 13th to 20th. Stayed at this hotel on a half board basis, with my adult son for an early season ski trip from Dec 13th to 20th. The room was basic and dated, but clean, with adequate storage space for 2 people and comfortable beds. The shower cubicle was a tight squeeze even for a small adult (I’m 173cm & 70kg), however there was always hot water available. Our room did have a good view of Ponte de la Masse and Belleville Valley, not requested so I suppose we were lucky from that perspective. So for a value hotel and ski trip, it’s all that we needed really. The reception, bar and restaurant were all welcoming, with pleasant decor and some lovely views of the mountains and valley too. The restaurant food was better than expected and plentiful. With buffet breakfast and dinner offerings replenished throughout the service times. As other reviews have mentioned there was wine included with dinner; red, white & rose (the red & white located near to the restaurant entrance, the rose at the other end of the restaurant). I tried them all (in moderation of course 😉), personally I enjoyed the rose best. Restaurant coffee machines are modern and serve good quality bean coffees, latte etc… but a little slow, probably need a couple more really. Ski room lockers not heated and are quite small, but ok for 2 sets of skis & boots. There’s not much seating available, so don’t be surprised if it gets a little crowded at 8:30Ish before lift opening / ski school. A little earlier or later, then it was usually fine and relaxed. You could ski out / in from the locker door area, however at the time we visited the path / sledging run that you would use was not being maintained so basically it was a narrow icy bumpy route, we didn’t bother. The short 5min walk to the main La Croissette base area was the better option. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, please keep up the good work. All in all we had a great holiday and I would recommend this hotel to any skiers looking for an affordable good value 3 Valleys ski trip.

Stayed for a week with family & friends through Ski Crystal. Had read mixed reviews & was a bit concerned. However, overall this hotel was very good. Good points: clean throughout, lovely, large lounge area in reception away from the children’s entertainment in the bar, toilets in reception were immaculate ( very useful as we had 5 adults in a family ‘apartment’ sharing one bathroom), beds were firm & comfortable, always hot water for baths/showers, change of towels mid-week, plenty of storage for clothes etc, locked lockers for skis and boots and whilst not heated, seemed warm enough to dry kit out. Additionally the spread and quality of food was excellent for both breakfast & dinner. Only 5 minute walk to ski lifts, bars and shops. Areas that could be improved: hooks in bedrooms for coats & towels etc, new pillows, better instructions on which lifts to use on arrival (chaotic arrivals as people tried to find the right lifts for their floor), bins in bedrooms would be helpful, the bathrooms look a bit tired and the rooms are very basic. But overall, very comfortable and clean with excellent food. I would be very happy to stay here again.

My adult son and I stayed here for a week's skiing. We were both very impressed with all the staff, who were particularly friendly and courteous - in particular, the entertainment team who were excellent. The hotel itself is very nice - warm, cosy, lots of room, relaxing spaces etc. Lots of wood, gives it an alpine feel. The building is not particularly attractive on outside, but it is nice inside. The restaurant is very good, with an excellent buffet every night, including a huge choice of starters, salads, main courses and deserts - rarely repeating any items. There is also a pleasant bar with a range of seating options in plenty of space. There is entertainment put on most evenings. There is a ski and boot store on the bottom floor with secure storage, but not heated. Ski to door is possible, but takes some working out and is a bit precarious - however, only a 5 min walk from Les Men centre, so easily accessible either way. The bedroom was pretty basic, but clean, warm and comfortable with a TV (French only, so not much good for us), a fridge and plenty of storage in a wardrobe. The bathroom was fine, although the shower was very small. The shower itself was good, with plenty hot water. In summary, we very much enjoyed our stay and appreciated the effort of all the staff in making our time so enjoyable.
