My husband and I had a wonderful six night stay at Hotel Le Savoy in February. It was perfect in every way. We booked the Honey Suite, which was just so lovely. It had the most beautiful view up the valley and sitting by the French doors or on the balcony and watching the gondolas go by was a great treat. It was heaven to sit with a glass of wine at the end of the day and watch the snow fall. Although the room had a large set of glass doors, it felt very private. The room was beautifully decorated, as was every space in this gorgeous hotel. The bathroom was large with a double shower, heated floor, heated towel rack, and a view of the mountains. Housekeeping was excellent and two very kind welcome gifts were left on the coffee table for us. Breakfast and dinner were served in the most thoughtfully designed and cozy space imaginable. This restaurant was so incredibly dreamy. My husband and I mused daily about the immense talent of the interior designer and how pleased they must be to have created rooms both inviting and warm while also a bit magical. This is just a very special place (and *of course* all the food was the most delicious!) Now, on to the staff who could not have been more helpful or friendly. When I inquired about renting ski gear months before our trip, it was hotel staff who emailed weeks before our arrival to remind me to complete the information for booking. This was done entirely through the hotel and I had great peace of mind knowing the rentals were taken care of. The ski rental shop is directly across from Le Savoy and it was all very easy and pleasant. The hotel also helped us book a guide for the day, which was the absolute highlight of our trip. I had looked online and tried to find a service that would provide us not with ski instruction, but with getting to know the mountain as it is many times larger than any ski area we had encountered before. I was unsuccessful, so I was delighted when the hotel took charge of this and found us an excellent, excellent guide. I wish I remembered everyone's name, but of special note were Victor, Abby-Gaëlle, Guillaume and Ilona. They suggested restaurants, made reservations, and even made certain we made it back safely from a long walk in a snowstorm on our last evening. They couldn't have been any kinder to us and we are so grateful. The Savoy is just across the street from the escalator that takes skiers to the piste. It's so close and super easy. Also very close are many wonderful restaurants. Our two favorites were Partajo and La Fromagerie (both very short walks away.) We also had a wonderful dinner at Le Resto at Le Savoy as well as at Le Cromagnon, which has been purchased recently by the most charming owner who has great plans to change the restaurant for the better. As someone who who has dreamed her whole life of a ski trip to the Alps, I can say Le Savoy exceeded every expectation and we absolutely cannot wait to return. Thank you!! (Oh! Our only very tiny criticism is that the TV in the Honey Suite blocked the view, but I'm sure for some people the TV is very important. )

“Good quality hotel in the centre of Meribel.”

This was second visit to this hotel, Last time we went as a couple but this time brought our family and friends. The hotel is ideally located in the absolute centre of Meribel a few metres from the Tourist Office and an escalator which takes you to a slope down to the main ski lift area. You can ski back to the same place at the end of the day. There are numerous ski shops, restaurants and great bars within a few minutes walk. The hotel recommended a few restaurants and we happily took their advice. The staff at the hotel were particularly helpful throughout or short 3 night stay.

“What a fantastic hotel”

What a fantastic hotel. Perfect location. The rooms are very clean, tidy and modern. The team at the hotel could not have been more helpful. They sorted, lift passes, lifts to restaurants and were on hand to help with everything. they were very welcoming and friendly. we would defiantly stay again
