Stayed in early March 2026 on a half-board basis. Great location less than 5 min walk from the nearest ski lifts. All staff welcoming and very friendly. Slightly annoying that check-in wasn’t until 5pm, which is the latest I’ve ever encountered, though as it was we tried at 4 (after first arriving about 1.30) and were allowed in. Reception has a rather grand, red-carpeted dual staircase that runs up to the next floor where the restaurant and bar are located. The rooms and bathrooms themselves don’t make the same impression and are pretty dated now and probably in need of an update at some point. General size and comfort good though, if a little hot and dry during the night with no obvious air conditioning available. We had a balcony with a view of the mountains but nothing to sit on out there to enjoy it. Free locker room downstairs for storing skis and boots. A little tight but does the job. Could do with more seating, though there are some chairs just outside we used to use when putting boots on instead. Decent buffet spread for breakfast and the same in the evening with salad, soup, mains and desserts that all tasted good to me. Also, the free on-tap water and wine was appreciated. The hotel also has a gym and sauna, though we didn’t use those, a large hotel bar that made excellent and very reasonably priced (for Tignes) cocktails. Plus, there was a decent Irish bar also on site that showed sport and had happy hour prices on après ski beers. Didn't hear much noise from it at night, but we were on the 4th floor and I sleep with earplugs thanks to a snoring roommate! For the price and location alone, linking in to such a big ski area, the Le Diva hotel is definitely one I would consider again.

Upon arrival the outside of the hotel looked very nice and how we remembered it over the years. Check in wasn’t until nearer to 5pm, but we were able to check in after 3pm. The room was very dated, nothing had been changed since we visited the first time since 2004, apart from a new fire door to the room. Carpet very dirty, beds weren’t changed all week, and the electrics were coming off the wall, the tv didn’t work even after changing the batteries. The bath was damaged, and the lights were not very bright. The room smelled of weed from the previous occupants, which wasn’t very nice. The room was eventually cleaned, but only after we complained. We tried to look for a different room but due to it being so full, the chance of us getting a new room was limited. The food was the only thing that made our week better, throughly cooked and different choices every day. Don’t get me wrong the skiing was great, but the hotel experience did let us down. Unfortunately we won’t be returning to this hotel or Tignes, we will look to another resort and hotel. It’s a shame, as ewe love Tignes, and hotel is in a perfect location. But it needs a full renovation and upgrade to all the rooms. Sorry.

“Ok just”

It’s a lovely looking hotel, great location. Boot room is not the best designed, bit of squeeze getting past people. One small bench. Food is only just adequate, luke warm if you’re lucky. Don’t turn up a few minutes late.. Staff are lovely.
