How is this a 3*? Hotel is clean, staff are friendly and this hotel is perfectly placed for the ski lofts. The ski and boot room is excellent and we have no complaints. I have to mention the food. It is easily 5*. If you love food, you will love it here. Gastro delights each night. The set meal all inc menu choices were delish. There is a pizza option if you like plain food but if you like food and delish drinks .. book! The bar is lovely, rooms are fab and the lounge is so nice qith a fab view. Thank you. We will be back next year. Loved our stay.

Can’t believe the negativity about this hotel. As a result I feel the need to review. I’ve been skiing to many places in France and Italy and this is by far the best. We had family and friends join us in the bar for apres and it was perfect, even with kids. They were also able to join us to watch the rugby and Winter Olympics. The service throughout is faultless. There were mostly young swedes and brits. The à la carte menu was varied and lovely every day, with alternative dishes. some days we had non residents join us and they could choose from the bar menu. Perfect location for ski lifts and other bars in 2100. The rooms are what you would expect from a ski resort. Adequate and functional.

Can’t believe some of the negative reviews, for a relatively budget price this hotel far exceeded expectations. Location excellent a short walk to lifts, food impressive, high quality and well served, mainly young Swedish staff, very friendly and professional. Nice bar and restaurant area with a go… more

Can’t believe some of the negative reviews, for a relatively budget price this hotel far exceeded expectations. Location excellent a short walk to lifts, food impressive, high quality and well served, mainly young Swedish staff, very friendly and professional. Nice bar and restaurant area with a good atmosphere. Yes, the rooms are small but are functional. In house ski technician to adjust skis bindings etc f.o.c. a nice touch. Every year a group of us have skied all over alps for last 20 years, to a man all agreed not worth looking elsewhere again and will rebook here.

“A nice but not great hotel”

We stayed at the Langley 2100 mid March. Firstly, i will say the staff were brilliant. Mostly Swedish and very hospitable. The hotel is well situated about 100m from the main lift area. The public areas are modern and well presented. Breakfast is buffet style with something to satisfy every pallet which was perfect to set you up for the day. The evening meals were 3 course set menu woth a vegetarian options for meat/fish dishes and two pizza options. I will say that considering we are in the Alpes theee were far too many fish dishes. That said they are willing to substitute a salad for starter and ice cream for dessert. The rooms are the one severe downside to the place. Relatively modern but our room was cold which is not good in a winter setting. They are small boxes with a small bathroom screen put up. The screen is clear glass with a frosting on it and a very see through curtain so you need to avert your eyes when your roommate is using the shower. Such a poor idea when a solid screen would have worked so much better. There is a sliding door on the bathroom which is ill fitting and rumbles loudly, echoing through the floors from other rooms. Last thought on this is You need to be VERY familiar with your roommate to comfortably use the toilet and there is no chance of being quiet if you need the facilities in the middle of the night. The spa facilities are an extra charge, about 12 euros for an hour session. The sauna is nice with a view out over the slopes but the steam room is very smelly with no essence and the benches poorly made which pools the water and condensation. The smell is caused by bacteria which proliferates in the hot humid environment. The hot tub was also unsanitary and on the two visits i made was not cleaned before filling so there were hairs and debris floating in it and it also had no sanitation agent added to the water. As a swimming pool/spa professional this is the cardinal sin of operation and I would not be surprised if users were ill after using it. I would stay well clear and go and use the facilities at the lido across the way which is about the same price. I dont know if i would stay at this hotel again and i am looking at alternatives in the Le Lac area for next year.
