We stayed at the Ibis budget and searched a restaurant closeby.... The Ibis Montbeliard. The interior has an efficient hotel-looks. So don't go for the entourage. “Good Food in Montbeliard”
The weather outside was too nasty to venture into, so we stayed at Le Cabriolet in the hotel. Enjoyed prompt and friendly service as well as a very delicious meal at a good price. Breakfast was also a real winner - deeply enhancing our overall stay at this clean, modern hotel.

“a bit dated”
This is one of the old Ibis hotels. Rooms are ok, but quite smaller than the average Ibis. There are stairs to the reception and no no lift to the second floor.
