“Good value stopover”
As others have said, it’s clearly had grander days. Our only real issue was that it’s impossible to get a pre dinner drink at the “bar” because there’s only one staff member in the hotel and she’s too busy on reception to do anything else. “Changed ownership and it shows!”
We stop off here every year on our way through France. However after our visit this year we decided we would not be back. Check in is from 4pm, we arrived at 5.30pm to be told our room wasn’t ready and when I enquired when it would be ready was told “I don’t know”. There was only 1 poor girl on her… more

“Somewhat rude and dismissive attitude towards guests”
Looks like a stunning building. Shame the service wasn't stunning. Somewhat rude and dismissive attitude. Claimed full and unable to seat all in our club for a mealbbut less than 50% of tables used. Food okay. Clean. But the attitude sticks.
