I spent a week here with my family in August. We had a one bedroomed apartment which consisted of a double bedroom, small second bedroom with bunk beds and a living room with sofa bed. I felt that the accommodation was good value for money but felt a little cramped with 4 of us, although fine to use as a base for exploring. The apartment was very clean when we arrived but I found it strange that rather than an oven we had a full sized dishwasher although there was a hob and microwave. There was a communal BBQ which we used a couple of times and there are also several nice little restaurants less than 10 mins walk away in the town. Beds were very comfortable and the pool was clean and well maintained with plenty of sun beds although no umbrellas. Marans is a nice town but felt slightly run down with many empty shops (possible due to the large SuperU?) although we enjoyed a boat trip on the Canal with Marais plaisance. The staff at Park & Suites were very helpful and friendly in all the interactions that we had with them. In summary, this is a nice place to stay but possibly for 3-4 days rather than a full week or longer.

Nice complex, apartment adequately equipped and roomy, lovely heated pool and area, grounds clean, friendly staff. Nice complex, apartment adequately equipped and roomy, lovely heated pool and area, grounds clean, friendly staff. My only gripes are that the WiFi which is available is very poor, weak and intermittent. Also the apartments are nice but as mentioned by a few people the ceiling is wafer thin and you can hear every foot step from your neighbors who in their defence cannot help it. Good place overall though. Thank you

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was quite large as there was a lounge/dining area/kitchenette with fridge, dishwasher, hob and microwave, 2 bedrooms and shower/wc room. You need to remember to clean the kitchen area before you leave, as well as remove used bed linen, but the staff were lovely and helpful, and gave us all the info when we checked in on what we needed to do before we left. There is a Super U supermarket a couple of mins walk so easy to buy your own food rather than eat out. The hotel has a large outside heated pool, sauna, steam room and small gym. We used the pool and steam room (good for your health!) and gym. My only minor "issue" is that the gym could have better equipment, as there are only 5 pieces of very old and tired equipment (2 x exercise bikes, 2 x steppers and a rowing machine) and not all worked as expected. No free weights, bench, dumbells, barbells etc. If more modern and varied equipment were provided it would be great. Free parking and wifi, although we had trouble getting the wifi to work and in the end just used our mobile data. So apart from the wifi and gym equipment, overall a good stay and we would go there again.
