The cabin was fabulous, air conditioning in all the rooms was a great bonus, although beware if you open any windows, as it shuts off!! Lovely comfortable beds great amount of bedding, wouldn't have minded a couple of extra pillows, but had I asked im sure they would have been supplied. Beautifully clean, great size fridge freezer, loved the dishwasher. All the cookware you needed and utensils. Enjoyed barbecues on two nights. Lush decking area with picnic table and chairs to relax in. Good showers, hot and plenty of water but not very powerful. I'm unsure why they have foregone a toilet in the ensuite for a walk in wardrobe? 2 toilets is not a must but would be better for a family. Lovely touches when we arrived, a beautiful poster, a lanyard for my daughter with disabilities and lots of welcome cards. Reception desk was amazing, we got in quite late but they were happy and friendly. Quickly sorted my daughters priority pass, and made a badge for my sons birthday. The shop, although a little pricey, was staffed by so many friendly people, speaking all languages. It was always a pleasure to go there! Swimming pool was lush and not overly busy. Lots of swimming aids for kids free of charge. No need to squash a noodle in the car!! If you are trying to budget and do disneyland paris I would highly recommend this. You get so many extras. We have done the nearby eurocamp, and it was rubbish. You are 5 minutes from the parks, parking is free, you get the magic hour, and lots of lovely facilities onsite. Always be my recommendation if doing disneyland, slightly cheaper!! Xx

Family of 6. Stayed in the new refurbished cabin and was very happy with our choice. Spacious and clean. Definitely good value for your money. Pools were lovely my children loved the pool. Only negative point to say is there’s nothing open day time if you wanted to get something to eat, we arrived and couldn’t get the keys as was too early, so we thought we’d get some food whilst waiting but nothing was open, so we settled with ice lollies from the shop. This is something that definitely needs looking into. Davy Crockett is a short drive away to Disney which is a bonus.

We were excited to stay in Davey Crockett Ranch. We had a car so travel was not a problem to the parks. The new Cabins are really nice but we did have a couple of issues with them. We were having really warm weather when we stayed and at night it was still 20c The main buildings are lovley but we didnt eat at the evening buffet. We skipped breakfast at the hotel as its simply just a bag with a few items. If it was a buffet like dinner we probably would have paid. The New cabins are really spacious inside and you park right outside. The Decor really fits in with the wilderness theme but doesnt throw Disney down your throat like other resorts. The bedrooms were big enough to sleep in and were comfortable, the main bedroom has a kingsize bed and an ensuite with a shower but no toilet [thats next to the second bedroom] On the other end of the cabin in is the second bedroom with single beds and the main bathroom and toilet next door. The living area is fine with appliances for simple cooking and so on. Outside of reception you have paid for clothing washing facilities. Now for the niggles. 1. Breakfast is only a bag of small items like croissants, jam and OJ. There is no proper breakfast option here. 2. The AC in the room did nothing! It was a very warm couple of nights and after we turned on the AC using the control it didnt do anything; no air flow, nothing! No breeze coming from it at all. It just turned its self off. Leaving us the only option to open the windows wide and let the Mosquitos in who took great pleasure in biting us many times! 3. The Toilet! If you are like me; a bigger guy! You will struggle with the toilet. It is quite frankly so small of a room that i had to walk up to the main reception and use those toilets for anything other than a wee! To sit down i had to keep the toilet door open and have one leg outside. It litreally has space for the toilet and thats it! Not great. The drive to the park is easy from DCR but its a long walk from the car park to the entrance of the park and most of the airport style moving walkways were not operational. Would i stay at DCR again? Yes! If they fix the size of the toilet and have operating Air Con so we dont have to be eaten by bug by keeping the windows open overnight.

We have just returned from a one night stay in-between 2 days at Disney. We stayed here 2 years ago and knowing how close to Disney it was we knew it was an ideal location as only 15mins from the parking at Disney. Check in was smooth and effortless and greeted very welcomingly from the staff on reception. They give all the info we needed to get to our lodge for the evening. First we decided to visit the pool, what an amazing pool the kids loved every minute while we were in there. The Convenience store on site had a good selection of food and drinks very reasonably priced for a Disney hotel. My only grumble was our lodge number 228 had a bit of a damp smell when we first entered, but I put that down to maybe been cleaned or empty for a while. The kids were shattered from the first day at Disney and had gone straight to bed. But through the evening the smell didn't go and it definitely had a damp foisty smell. When we woke in the morning the smell was quite bad and we could smell it on our clothes but as we were setting straight off back to Disney just cracked on. The only let down for the stay was the lodge but I do think it could be a one off as 2 years ago the cabin was faultless. Only other grumble was no welcome pack which they did provide 2 years ago.
