“Birthday trip away”

We arrived at explorers Saturday 13th April and check in was quick and sufficient. We requested an early check in and a fridge in the room and got both! The room is basic but clean and plenty of room for our 3 night stay with 2 adults and a child. The water park and outdoor park is amazing! Our little girl loved it and it really made our stay. As well as the arcade and soft play! Our little girl was entertained and all times. Marcos pizza was lovely and quick! Captain library was ok not a huge variety on the menu but I am fussy with food anyways! We also went into Disney village for tea one night. The free shuttle buses are easy to use and very regular to and from Disneyland. We went into Paris one day by getting the shuttle bus and then the train. My partner left his jacket in the hotel room, we realised once we arrived at the airport going home. We rang the hotel and they have posted it out to us. Overall our stay was amazing and my little girl had an amazing 4th birthday! If we are to return to Disneyland we would definitely stay here again and 100% will recommend!

“Excellent for a 3 stars hotel. Super for kids.”

It's a three starts hotel. The stay was 4.5. My judgment is according to they rating, not to a 5 stars hotel. Friendly welcome, quick and simple. It's a three starts hotel. The stay was 4.5. My judgment is according to they rating, not to a 5 stars hotel. Friendly welcome, quick and simple. The room was very nice, spot clean, if a little bit crammed. Four beds in a little room. The water park was very nice it seems to have room for everyone. The kids had a very good time. There are other attractions inside, for the kids. The only drawback was the pizza restaurant at the lower floor. Food was terrible. Good beer, good coffee. There is a good and friendly restaurant a la carte which we enjoyed. Breakfast is typical, but rich. No one will leave hungry. We stayed there for Disney and as such we spent little time inside. Shell I do it again? Absolutely.

“Enjoyable stay”

We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2024. All in all, the hotel is a great base for Disneyland and the kids loved the pool. I heard reports that the pool was cold, this is definitely not what we experienced. We swim quite regularly in the UK and the pool was definitely warmer than our local pools. I had a discussion with another guest about how the pool doesn't have a lifeguard. I didn't mind this, it just meant that when my youngest son (who isn't yet the strongest swimmer) was in the pool I got in with him. Its a fairly consistent depth (1.2m from memory) and he could stand up all over the pool but as expected of pools with the features that this pool has it did get quite busy. It opens quite late as well so that meant there was enough time to enjoy it as well as get out to Disney etc. While the pool doesn't have a lifeguard, it does have someone supervising entry and keeping a general eye on if people are behaving in the pool. Breakfast options were fresh, the morning coffee was great, and we always managed to find a seat. There were plenty of drink dispensers for juices and plenty of coffee machines which meant there were no big queues forming etc. The rooms were cleaned and beds made up on each day of our stay and always to a good standard. We found the beds to be very comfortable and just what we needed after the long walks around Disneyland. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants for lunch or evening meals as we were out most of the day. We did have pizza and garlic bread from Marco's and this was decent enough (I particularly enjoyed the garlic bread). We also had a panini from the coffee and bagel counter and that was fine too. The only real issue that we had was service at the bar and the cleanliness in the bar area. We didn't spend hours in the bar (obviously most our time was spent out at the parks) so it might just have been unfortunate timing but it seemed to take a while for tables to be cleared of empty glasses and empty plates. With regard to the bar, there seemed to be enough staff but there was only one person serving which meant queues became quite long. In terms of travel to and from the parks, the shuttle bus was fine (obviously as it was Easter, it did get busy) and we also used Uber a few times. We didn't have to wait too long for either service. Looking over the Uber receipts it was 12 euros for travel to / from the parks and this was the price at any time of the day. We used it once going to the parks at 9am and then twice in the evenings, paying the same price for each trip. We didn't have to wait longer than 4 mins for Uber. Again, all in all a great base for the parks and I personally would have no issue with returning to stay at the hotel.
