The hotel is beautiful and welcoming, and our overall experience was very good. The spa is outstanding, easily one of the best we have ever visited. The design is impressive, the atmosphere is relaxing and every detail feels carefully considered. The spa area is especially remarkable. Each sauna room is spacious, beautifully designed and offers a different atmosphere with unique layouts, artistic elements, mosaics and sculptural details. Every room feels like its own little world. There is even a salt room, something I have never encountered in a hotel before, along with a cold plunge pool at 8 degrees, indoor and outdoor pools, a warm pool and several relaxing lounge areas. We also appreciated receiving a bag with towels, a robe and slippers in the room, included in the stay. The hotel gets many details absolutely right. The corridors have a medieval charm that creates a special ambiance, almost like walking through a living museum. However, once you reach the rooms the contrast is noticeable. The carpets and room design feel older and do not fully match the creativity and high standard of the rest of the property. Our room had a smaller bed instead of a king size and a simple shower, which felt below the level of a spa hotel. We later noticed that some rooms are renovated with wood flooring and a fresher look, and it is a pity that this is not yet consistent throughout the hotel. The art, the styling and especially the Christmas decorations are truly breathtaking. The amount of effort invested in atmosphere and aesthetics is impressive and creates a magical experience. Dinner was tasty, creative and nicely presented, although the menu could offer a bit more variety. The bread arrived without butter and when we asked for it, the butter was not very fresh. Small details like this could elevate the dining experience significantly. Breakfast was good with a decent selection, although not as generous as expected. Some items shown in photos were missing. The croissants were excellent, but you need to arrive early before they run out. There was only one vegetable option which was tomato. The fresh orange juice made on the spot was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. The lounge area is cosy and charming, and the snacks, nuts and fruit add a nice touch when enjoying a drink. The wine cellar is absolutely fascinating and incredibly unique. I have never seen anything like it in a hotel. The combination of history, design, art and wine is truly impressive and reflects the vision and creativity of the owners. It is clear how much passion has been invested in this property. The surroundings are beautiful, with nature and walking trails in every direction which was perfect for us as dog owners. Overall, this hotel is excellent. It is unique, full of character, rich in history and beautifully designed. The spa is truly world class and the staff were kind and attentive. A few improvements in the rooms and dining details could make the experience perfect, but we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. A real gem. We have already recommended this place to several friends.

The hotel is beautiful and welcoming, and the overall experience was very good. The spa is truly outstanding, one of the best we have ever visited. The design is impressive, the atmosphere is relaxing and every detail feels carefully thought through. The spa area is especially remarkable. Each sauna room is large, spacious and beautifully designed, with different temperatures, unique layouts, artistic elements, mosaics and sculptural details. Every room feels like its own world. There is also a salt room, which I have never seen before in a hotel, and several other unique features that make the whole spa experience exceptional. The selection and quality are truly on another level. There is a cold plunge pool at 8 degrees, an indoor and outdoor pool, one more warm pool and relaxing lounges. In the room we received a bag with towels, a robe and slippers, all included which was a great touch. The hotel gets many details perfectly right. The corridors are beautiful with a medieval atmosphere that gives the place a unique charm. At the same time, once you reach the rooms there is a noticeable contrast because the carpets and the room design feel old in a way that does not match the creative and unique style of the rest of the hotel. Our room had a small bed instead of a king size and a simple shower, which did not fully match the level of a spa hotel. We later saw that some rooms are renovated with wood flooring and a fresh design, and it is a pity that this is not the standard. The hotel feels like a living museum with beautiful art, and during Christmas time the decorations are unbelievable. The effort they put into the atmosphere and styling is truly mind blowing. The combination of history, design, art and wine is impressive and shows true vision. The spa, the art and the entire concept of the property reflect the creativity of the owners. It is clear how much thought and passion were invested. The hotel is surrounded by nature in every direction. There are walking trails all around which was perfect for us as dog owners. In summary, the hotel is excellent. It is unique, rich in history, beautifully designed and full of character. The spa is exceptional and truly world class and the staff were kind and attentive. A few improvements in the rooms and dining details could make the experience perfect, but overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. A real gem. Already recommended this place to few friends. Tom is genuinely one of the kindest people we have ever met. His service goes far beyond anything we have experienced. He is the most attentive and professional person we have ever encountered, always polite, always with a warm smile, always with exceptional kindness. The hotel is truly fortunate to have him. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Tom every day, and his presence consistently made our stay better. He cared for us from the heart, he cared for our dogs, and he handled every request with sincerity and patience. Tom represents real hospitality

The quality of the beds and pillow at the spa is Nice . We were left speechless. We only had late lunch at the bar and the food was delicious . The service was Quick . There is also a snack section for their resident by the bar from 14:00 which is Nice . Especially when you have children. The bedroom were spacious and clean. The only problem is that once the sofa bed is open its difficult to go on the balcony and you could not open the door so well. We had 2 rooms and the receptionnist assured us we had the bigger one but our friends was bigger. So there a small mistake as my partner was smoking and it was a little akward to go outside on the balcony. Also on the second night they reduced the aircon and it was very hot in the room and we could not open the window because of the bed and also because of the curtains. The 2 french door open in the middle and the curtains open all the way to the left. Usually the curtain open where the doors open. Very interesting error. But apart from this the aircon is excellent when it’s on and the spa is great. Maybe 1 or 2 members of staff need to speak to client with a bit more respect . But we found everyone was friendly. The bar staff was especially friendly and working so hard. I think they could do with extra staff at the bar as sometimes you had to wait 20 min to order drinks. And because we were in a rush we had to go.

“Nice rooms and spa, but very poor restaurant quality.”

The room was really nice big and comfortable. The spa too was very enjoyable. The meal that we had in the bar though was terrible, very overpriced for very mediocre quality so would recommend avoiding eating here.
