“A good plain hotel”

I stayed for a total of three nights. The hotel gave me a good place to rest my head and do all that is necessary for a brief stay. The staff couldn't have been more helpful; breakfast was ample; the bed comfortable and the en-suite shower was powerful. Given the location, close to the station, river, cathedral and city centre, this hotel must rate as a bargain. Don't expect a 5-star chrome and black experience and you won't be disappointed.

“Great Location, Nice little 2 Star place”

Dont go into this hotel expecting a 5 Star experience and you'll be fine. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, what little I had to do with them. It is what it is. Dont go into this hotel expecting a 5 Star experience and you'll be fine. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, what little I had to do with them. It is what it is. Sure, the door room handles and locks were odd. Same with the bathroom, but they weren't unusable and everything was clean. Its in a great location near railway, main shopping area parkland, Notre Dame Cathedral and restaurants. I was able to go for a nice walk through different areas before checking out a restaurant each night before heading back to hotel. I was only sleeping here as I had tours to do, so it served that purpose for me just fine.

This is a handy budge hotel very close to station. I stayed in a simple single room which was ideal for me. room was very simple it could do with extra pillows. there was no English language channel on the TV. Wifi was excellent however the breakfast was quite simple and needs to start earlier, it was not that great for the price.

When we arrived at the hotel we were a little anxious as the area looked quite run down, and the hotel looked shabby from the outside. We were very warmly welcomed, given a map of the town with places of interest highlighted on the map. Our bedroom was very French, had 2 big windows, which was a relief as it was a very hot day. The room itself was quite large, with all the amenities you would expect. The bathroom was also quite large, with a fantastic shower. Breakfast was ok, bread, croissant, jam etc, nothing very exciting or out of the ordinary, and cost an additional 8 euros each. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the old town with the river and riverside restaurants, so quite well located. The hotel I found to be noisy when we first arrived, there was lots of door banging and shouting, which subsided after a short while and it was quiet during the night. We parked right outside the hotel and paid for onroad parking between 9am and 18.00, 6 euros, which was ok..
