This was our second visit as a family, We had a comfort cottage and it was more than sufficient for our needs. Everything was clean and in good order - although I'm not keen on induction hobs - also no oven, only a microwave with a grill. Our granddaughters loved the swimming pools and would have been in the pool area all day. Once lured away from the pool they loved the tree trekking, the farm, the outdoor play areas and the beautiful themed gardens. The village itself is beautiful with greenery and flowers everywhere and it is a place I would stay without its location close to Disney. It is also a fantastic base for Paris as well as Disney - we went into Paris twice, once to go to the Eiffel Tower, take a boat trip, visit Notre Dame and see the outside of the Louvre. We also managed to get to Versailles, but that was a very complicated trip - luckily my daughter and her husband speak French and we were able to overcome the difficulties faced by problems on the usual rail journey. There is a regular bus from the village to Disney and the station with a link direct to Paris. I booked the comfort cottage 12 months in advance and received a discount and i was also able to pick the lodge number, so I picked a lodge where the sun was at the back during the day - previously we had a dark patio which we couldn't really use. The patio furniture was replaced on our second day - the original set was full of tree debris - which allowed us to eat outside for most meals. The supermarket is quite expensive, but has a good range of options - which is great, as my family is vegan. We had been told about a hypermarket reasonably close by, but it was not easily accessible by public transport, so we weren't able to get to it. I was blown away by the beauty of the "Extraordinary Gardens" - themed gardens with games for children incorporated within them. They are absolutely gorgeous, with little information plaques in French and English. There are forest trails and walks which are also worth trying out. Negative points (for us) - my family is vegan and none of the restaurants on site had vegan options, so we weren't able to eat out. The decking at the rear had a rotten plank and my chair fell through it (with me in it). It was repaired very promptly, but there was no concern about whether I had hurt myself - no Health and Safety reports here! Despite this, we hope to visit again as we had a truly amazing holiday.

“Great for self catering near Disney wonderful pool area .”

We usually stay at Davy Crockett ranch but thought we would give this a go as we had no car this trip . Bus was easy at 2.50 euros pp and 2 an hour . Takes 20 mins to DLP . It was a heatwave the week we came but the fans kept us cool and didn’t need air con . Very much enjoyed the outdoor areas at Aqua mundo great pool . I would recommend a week as we had no time to explore on a five day break as we had 3 days in Parcs . Our apartment was very nice . No problem with cleanliness . The cons Were supermarket /receptions queues , it was so busy everywhere. our apartment was allegedly for 4 but made up sofa bed in lounge for 6 ? We asked for it to be turned back to a sofa . A man from housekeeping let him self in at 11 pm !!! We were in bed luckily I had the chain across the door . I have no idea what would possess you to do that ? This was my only concern which was quite frightening as we were two ladies and a child .i was quite angry and have reported it to CP . Would I go again . Probably.

After reading all the reviews about this resort I was unsure. Although I can say as a family we have had the best time - 2 boys - 13 & 10. We chose a vip cottage, chose the one we wanted which was in a perfect location & backed onto a lake. The accommodation it self was well equipped, clean and everything we could possible need, it was very spacious with 2 bathrooms and a beautiful hydro bath. The only one downfall to the accommodation was the fact it didn’t have any air con, which in 32 degree heat wasn’t pleasant, we were however given 3 fans, although these made little difference. The aqua muno - amazing! Got there for 10am each morning to secure perfect sun loungers, clean and plenty to do - lifeguards at every station. The food here was also nice. You are not allowed in the swimming area unless you have a costume on, which I didn’t realise on the first day so was unable to enter straight away. (My fault for not reading up on this) We did bowling twice and paddle which the kids loved and broke up the week. We also ate at the bistro one evening which was delicious and booked on site, twice at the Italian and twice at the burger place. Ques were long at times for the Italian which could have been prevented by having a booking system in place, but the food in all restaurants were lovely once seated. The shop onsite was well stocked, the fridges broke on the first day which was down to the heat and through no fault of the site. We also did a day at Disney land, used the Disney car park which cost 28 euros for the day. Lovely day out. Value for money was good. Will 💯 return to this park!
