We’ve stayed at this hotel twice, first in 2020 and again in 2026, and we’ve always really liked the vibe, atmosphere and entertainment it has to offer. The indoor and outdoor pools are very nice, and there’s also a good fitness room if you have time to use it! The breakfast area is huge and the breakfast itself is nice, although I think they could offer a little more variety. A nice bonus is that they allow you to take some food with you for lunch. They don’t really advertise this, so you need to ask for the takeaway/goody bags, but we thought this was a great option. The rooms and bathrooms, unfortunately, are starting to feel a little old-fashioned and could do with some renovation. There are also small details that should probably be looked at after so many years – for example, our chest of drawers wasn’t working particularly well. For the price, I would also expect the coffee in the room to be replenished every day, which wasn’t the case. On the positive side, the air conditioning worked well and the room was a good size for four people. Overall, I would expect a little more from a four-star hotel, particularly when it comes to the rooms and some of the smaller details, but we still had a good stay. The location is very convenient, around a 10-minute walk from the parks, and there is also a shuttle available. We would happily consider staying here again.

Myself, my wife and our two girls (aged six and four) stayed in the Disney Newport Bay Club for three nights at the end of July 2026. Overall, we were really impressed with the hotel and the facilities on offer and would recommend it to anyone. When we arrived, the staff on the reception desk were exceptionally helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English (this was largely the case with all staff throughout the parks for the duration of our time there). Our rooms weren't going to be ready for a couple of hours but we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel, collect our "Magic Passes" and head to the parks. The walk from the hotel to the park entrances is about fifteen minutes via Disney Village. We didn't use the free shuttle bus as, by the time we had waited for the bus to arrive, we reckoned it would be about the same amount of time - plus, there was always a good vibe in Disney Village and the walk alongside Lake Disney was very pleasant. When we were able to access our rooms later in the day, we were largely very impressed. The room was on the floor one, whilst the reception itself is on floor two, so we either had to take the elevator or the stairs. Although there were lots of lifts available, most guests were heading upwards and it was therefore quicker to take the stairs. The room was quite a distance from the reception although this wasn't really an issue. It was quite close to the entrance to the Nantucket Pool, which made the single occasion we used the pool much simpler. On the subject of lifts, one aspect of the hotel that wasn't amazing and needs thinking about is the fact that there is only a single lift from the reception area, on floor two, to the exit of the hotel (which you need to use to head towards the parks) on floor one. Given the high number of families with pushchairs, it feels like this is a design flaw that wasn't properly thought through at the time. The room itself was exactly what we expected from reading reviews and looking at images online. It wasn't huge but wasn't cramped either. Given that we were on floor one, we actually had a small outdoor patio area. There were no chairs outside but it was simple enough to move the two room chairs outside (which we did so when the girls were napping inside). The bathroom was a little basic but fine - a slightly more powerful shower would have been preferable but this wasn't a big issue. The room was cleaned each day between leaving the hotel around 7.45am and returning around 3.00pm to the allow the girls to nap. We used the Nantucket Pool on a single occasion. It's open from 7am until either 9pm or 10pm in the evening. Other than the ship, the pool area is fairly simple but our girls loved it. The weather was very warm during our stay so we were also able to use the outdoor pool, which, again, the girls loved. We would have happily used the pool more often but had way too much fun in the parks to do so! We chose not to buy a Meal Plan as we figured we could get better value for money organising food ourselves - which proved to be the case. Some good advice that we read online beforehand was that the Meal Plans become good value for money if you are planning to eat at the more expensive "sit-down" restaurants (such as "Walt's") in the park. We knew that this wouldn't be a priority for us with two young girls - so I suppose it's something each party will need to weigh up for themselves. However, we did chose to eat in the Cape Cod restaurant one evening and were very impressed. It's quite expensive, but there was a huge variety of food, not just fish dishes, and is of a much higher quality than you would find at a standard "all-inclusive" family restaurant elsewhere on the contient. The two big advantages of staying at Newport Bay, as well as any of the other Disney hotels, are the use of "Extra Magic Time" and the option to head back to the hotel to rest-up in the afternoon. We made full use of Extra Magic Time and were able to get on lots of attractions. The rides available in Extra Magic Time open at 8.30am - but the parks themselves open ten/fifteen minutes earlier, so it's worth getting to Disney Village for around 8am. We went straight to Crush's Coaster in our first use of this time and had to wait for around 45 minutes. This might seem like a lot for Extra Magic Time, but compared to queue times for this ride during the rest of the day, this was a very short wait. On our other days, we were able to go on rides like Big Thunder Mountain, Peter Pan's Flight, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast with next to no queue. The other big advantage of staying in a Disney hotel was the ability to easily head back to the hotel during the afternoon. We usually had lunch in the park and then headed back some time after that - in order for the girls to have a nap and recharge for a late night. This meant that they were both able to stay up for the Tales of Magic firework show as well as the new Cascade of Lights show, which started at 10.50pm and 10.40pm respectively. It made sense for us - the weather was hottest during the hours we were back at the hotel and the queues were at their longest. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Disney Newport Bay Club. We're hoping to return to Disneyland Paris in a few years time and will quite probably choose this hotel again - although, like everyone, we'd love to stay in the Disneyland Hotel itself one time!

“Not worth the money”

The hotel is stunning and rooms are clean… mostly Location is great, only a 15min walk to the parks Check-in and check-out is super simple. The negatives: we dropped bags at 10am but room wasn’t ready until after 3pm as we were told. No apology Massive queues to check-in if you don’t do online, same with baggage drop. It’s as though there’s too many people and not enough staff. In our bathroom, there was a few dirty marks along the outside of the bath. The AC in the rooms is out of date but just about functional. For a hotel with thousands of guests, there are 11 changing rooms for the pool, which meant there was a massive build up at times For the money being paid, we felt everything should be perfect

Our 4th time visiting Disneyland Paris but our first at Newport Bay. Like previous stays we picked a Disney hotel as we enjoy the Mickey Hour and the location of the hotels/ ease. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our stay at this hotel. It was worn around the edges. One afternoon an old kettle, dirty trays and a cot were left in the hallway for hours (we went past at both 2pm and 9pm). Skirting boards chipped and a missing drawer handle in the room. This hotel was not worth an extra star over the other Disney hotels we have stayed. Our room was far along the west wing corridor- in fact it was one of the furthest rooms on the resort. This meant any time we left the hotel or wanted to use the swimming pool we had to walk the entire site. On other Disney hotel resorts we did not have this issue. Disappointed with paying more for this hotel when the other ‘cheaper’ hotels offer much more.

Second stay so knew what to expect but had heard it had been refurbished so fingers crossed…. Bath side bar handing off and broken and lots of rust down side of bath and peeling paint in bathroom. Our carpet was soaked upon arrival- I had to wrong the kids socks out! But this was rectified when reported. Hotel is convenient for the park but feels a bit unloved. Staff were great especially the man from house keeping who helped us out with a laundry emergency. There is no fridge in the room- which we knew so brought a cold box! But only one point to get filtered water in while hotel and water in room not refreshed despite room price being same for all nights. Ice machines broken bit air con was very welcome!
