“Great for going to Disney Land & Paris on a budget”

I came with my family for 4 nights (3 adults and 1 16 year old) mainly to see the fireworks at Disney Land on New Year’s, and would recommend B&B HOTEL Marne-la-Vallée Torcy if you’re looking to do Disney land and the centre of Paris on a budget as well. The best thing about the hotel and Torcy in general is its proximity to everything. When we arrived we got an Uber to the hotel, which cost us just over €30 and took about 40 minutes. However, when we’re there, we discovered there’s a direct bus from Torcy bus station to terminal 3 at the airport which costs us €2.05 each. The bus takes 1 hour. The bus number is EX 19 and you get this from stand G at Torcy bus station. At the airport, it drops you off / picks you up at the bus station at stand G at terminal 3 (Roissypôle). We were flying from terminal 2, but we just followed the signs for terminal 2 when we got to the airport and we found it easy enough. Getting the bus was very easy and if we come again, we feel confident to get the bus there and back. The bus and train station is literally about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. To get the bus and train, you have to get a card for each person which costs €2 and top it up for each journey. You can do this for multiple journeys at a time, so we worked out how many bus / train journeys we had to do and paid for all the journeys together so after that, each time we arrived at the train station, we could go straight through the barriers. Other than to the airport, it is more convenient to go on the train which is a set fee of €2.55 per journey no matter how far you go. The stop to Disney Land is called Marne-la-Vallée Chessy and is 3 stops away. This journey takes about 10/15 minutes. You can literally see the Disney Land sign from the train station and once out the door, you are at security within 30 seconds. We spent 2 days at Disney Land and one day in the centre of Paris. To get to the centre of Paris, you go the other direction than Disney Land. The best place we found to get off is Charles de Gaulle-Étoile. This takes you to the Arc de Triomphe. This journey is about 40 minutes. The hotel itself is basic, but you get what you pay for. We only used it for a base as we were out for the vast majority of the day. The rooms are small. All of us are quite short so we were fine, but if you were tall, you may struggle to fit in the beds especially 😂. You only get 1 small pillow, but I went down to reception and they got me another pillow. They made the sheets every day and changed the towels every day as well, which I felt was a nice touch for a budget hotel. The shower was powerful and was really warm. All the receptionists were nice, especially the young man who checked us in, I didn’t get his name though. We booked room only, but for 2 of the days, we paid for breakfast which is €9.50 per person, which you can do at reception. They have scrambled egg and bacon, but other than that, it was more of a continental breakfast. It was nice though, including the coffee. There is enough around Torcy. If you turn left as leaving the hotel and left again, there is a massive shopping centre with loads of brands like Levi’s. If you turn right as leaving the hotel and then turn left under the short bridge, then go straight on, you’ll reach a Spar shop. Every morning, we went there and got snacks, lunch and bottled water to save a bit of money. If you go up the stairs opposite the Spar, you’ll reach a set of restaurants, such as a couple steaks houses, an Italian, a sushi place, a subway and a dessert place. If you ask at reception, they’ll let you know how to get there. There’s also a machine at reception where you can get different takeaways, such as pizza. Overall, it was a great experience and would definitely return to the hotel if we go to Disney Land or Paris again. I hope this review was of some help to you 😊

Been meaning to write this review for a while now. I stayed in B&B in Torcy recently as I decided to book a very last minute trip to DisneyLand and needed to somewhere to stay and booked this hotel at the 11th hour! When I eventually made my way to Torcy from the centre of Paris I was welcomed by the lovely check in team who were very helpful and pleasant. The room was pristine and clean, the shower was amazing for a budget hotel. The breakfast was really good and the fresh pastries were delicious. I was there solo and felt really safe. The hotel is in a great location as it right beside the train station, shops, pharmacies and a department store and is only three three train stops away from DisneyLand. I would defiantly stay again and highly recommend it but a kettle in the room would be nice!
