Outstanding from start to finish. I was contacted prior to the booking to sort out some anomalies in the booking, by telephone. Subsequent communications about our potential late arrival and the availability of parking was all dealt with very promptly and efficiently. The welcome was fabulous and the lady on reception could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Our room on the top floor was absolutely brilliant and had everything one could need even for an extended stay. The one and only drawback would be it is of course on the third floor and there is no lift so if stairs are a challlenge it could be an issue for some, in that specific room (gallerie des places). There are ground floor options and so I would suggest that is asked for if stairs are an issue. The parking one can book is a very short (30 seconds?) drive away and accessed off a narrow street and has a tricky entrance. Once inside all is easy but I can imagine some drivers with larger cars would struggle a little more than we did. Great location for exploring the nearby Palace of Versailles and a terric place to stay. It is self catrering and the presence of a small "city" Carrefour directly across the road open to 9pm is really handy too. A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay perfect.

Our Le Logis apartment was bijou, obviously only recently furnished and it had everything that we would possibly need for our stay. With the small local businesses around us it was lovely to be able to walk out and get fresh croissants for breakfast across the road and keep a treat in the fridge for after the adventures of the day. The apartment is inside a courtyard, there is a fob for the gate, it felt safe and secure and was very comfortable. Unfortunately we had a problem with our shower which I reported at reception, we were told the cleaner would have a look and see if there was anything she could do or they might move us. Within a half hour the cleaner had been to our apartment and left towels, but we heard nothing back from reception and discovered the next morning that nothing had been done with the shower, so we could only use it on half power without flooding the bathroom and bedroom. This is an ideal place to explore Versaille from, your within walking distance of the palace itself, train and bus station, restaurants etc. There is also a multi-storey car park a few metres away.

“Ok, but not great”

We had an ok stay at Le Logis, it wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either, just ok. We had a downstairs apartment which may have impacted our stay somewhat. We had an ok stay at Le Logis, it wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either, just ok. We had a downstairs apartment which may have impacted our stay somewhat. There was little privacy from the courtyard, so we kept our blinds closed most of the time as we are not keen on people looking in on us, this meant there was little light coming into the apartment. There is also no ability to open any windows to let fresh air in, the only option was opening the front door, which didn’t make us feel very secure, so the apartment was quite stuffy. The shower didn’t particularly drain very well, so there was always a large pool of water in the bottom of the shower. In terms of people commenting on it being quiet, yes it is to a certain degree in that you cannot hear the road, but you can hear the trains! On the positive side it is close to the train station (chantiers) which is no more than a five minute walk, there are two supermarkets close by and also a great bakery. The palace is also about a 20-30 minute walk away depending on your pace. There is also a washing machine which is a huge bonus if you are travelling for a long time. I might have had a different experience if we were in one of the upstairs apartments, that seem brighter and airy, but if my only option was to stay in the same apartment again, then I would seek alternative accommodation
