“Perfect location, surroundings, breakfast, and staff!”
We have made overnighting in Chinon on the way to Le Morbihan from Paris a tradition over the years, and this is our second stay at the Best Western! So glad we found it! “Room 101 is coming back!”
We came to check the town for a group coming in 6 month for a tour. The location is perfect, staff is very friendly and breakfast is great! our rooms were a bit small but we only stay at the room for 7 hours a night :)

“Magnificent Hotel in Chinon”
Another wonderful stay in Chinon, we stayed at the Hotel de France again for the fifth time. Why because it is a terrific location, the Staff are so kind & helpful and the rooms are wonderfully equiped. That`s not to diminish the historical significance of the bulilding and setting

The managers of this charming period hotel bent over backwards to welcome us and optimize our stay. We arrived early and they quickly stored our bags and helped up store our bikes safely. “Nice old building with character but beware the stairs!”
Very friendly staff here😊 We overlooked the square which was a little noisy one night.
