I'll start by saying that our experience was completely different from the previous review. We stayed five nights at the Adagio Viarmes and really enjoyed it. The location is excellent - a quiet neighbourhood, but with plenty nearby: several restaurants, and a small supermarket just around the corner. Our apartment was very clean and well-equipped. We liked having a small kitchen, which made it easy to prepare a couple of simple meals. The staff were polite and helpful, although not especially warm. I briefly met the manager who was friendly and polite. There’s also a pleasant little lounge area called the 'Biblioteque' and a courtyard with benches, which were nice places to relax. There are even books to read, most of them in French, but at times a few English ones. A couple of small negatives: the duvet was much too heavy for summer. It's much better suited to the colder months. I ended up using just the duvet cover. Also, breakfast looked good, with high quality jams but €15 per person is more than I would spend on breakfast. Perhaps management could reconsider the pricing. Fortunately there is an option to just have a coffee if you like, which I did on several mornings. (And a not a bad coffee either, considering it's from a machine.) A few local tips based on our stay: Getting from the airport was simple: we took the 38 bus to 8 Mai, then tram line 3 to Place Viarmes. it’s a short walk from there. The day we arrived, Saturday, was the flea market at Place Viarmes, a five minute walk, lots of interesting items for sale, interesting people too! The Talensac food market is about a 7-8 minute walk, with several cafes around it. The city centre is 13-15 minutes on foot or a short tram ride (three stops). You can also walk to the river area (Quai de Versailles) in about 10 minutes—there are some nice cafes to sit and have a drink. There’s a Carrefour City a few minutes away, and a frozen-food shop called Picard on rue Talensac that has a large choice of meals you can heat up in the microwave. Near the hotel we enjoyed a very nice lunch at a restaurant called, Bistrot des Petits Pavés. For breakfast there is a cafe on the corner of Place Viarmes with a €5 offer for a pastry and coffee. If you're here for a few days, I’d recommend downloading the Naolib app—it lets you buy tram tickets and rent bikes (first 30 mins free). Trams and buses are free on weekends, which is a big plus. All in all, we’d happily stay here again.

“Amazing value aparthotel, in good location, with good facilities & private parking”

This apart hotel is in an ideal, quiet location, 10mins walk down into the centre of the city. Three good restaurants and a small supermarket within 200m. This apart hotel is in an ideal, quiet location, 10mins walk down into the centre of the city. Three good restaurants and a small supermarket within 200m. Very good value, clean, functional, everything you'd need for a few days stay. Limited, but adequate cooking area with fridge, coffee machine, oven, hob, microwave, but no kettle or toaster. Bathroom good, but no toiletries provided. We got into the private underground car park, at Euro10/day, but perhaps not big enough for all guests?

“Fine”

Bit out of town, but fine for a quiet Sunday night. I was able to put my bike in the underground car park attached the hotel and take the lift up to reception. There are number of shops and restaurants close by.. breakfast was available I didn’t take it
