I would stay in this hotel without any hesitation. Have no fear you won't be disappointed by the service. The reservation was done through Booking.com. The review down below is to show the lack of service I received from Booking.com... I have used booking.com on a numerous occasions. This time I must say that I was quite disappointed with the service I was provided with. I booked a two nights stay from December 24-26th 2018. I paid the reservation using the "PayPal" option. I paid the full balance then received my booking confirmation. The next day I received an email from Booking.com saying that my reservation had been successfully modified. Strange as I had not performed any modification on the original booking. I decided to double-check with the hotel where I was going to stay to see whether the email I had received was a fraudulent message. The hotel was kind enough to confirm that my reservation was still in their system and that they had also received an email confirming a modification on my booking but they weren't able to identify the change...As a result no change was made which confirmed my suspicion on the fraudulent email... I then decided to ignore the message. The next day I received an email from Booking.com saying that my reservation had been cancelled. I then called Booking.com customer service to enquire about the cancellation. They told me that the system had cancelled the reservation due to invalid payment method or card was declined... The outstanding balance was 2,20€... So because the system was trying to charge a credit card that clearly wasn't mine as I had never paid the original booking using one but rather "PayPal", my reservation ended up being cancelled. I was due to travel from the UK to France on the next day and I wasn't sure whether I would be able to stay in the hotel as my room had been cancelled and this was a non-refundable booking. The customer representative I had on the phone listened to me. She tried to ring the hotel to see whether I could either be refunded or stay as it was planned. She wasn't able to speak to anyone as it was late in France. She said that she'd send an email to the hotel so that they'd see it in the morning. I requested to be copied so I would be reassured as I was traveling the next day and needed to have an accommodation in the evening. She assured me that she'd copy me. The next morning I didn't see any email... I rang the hotel and checked whether my booking was still cancelled. The director confirmed that it was. Realising how stressed I was he decided to honor the booking which I am grateful for. Later that day I received an email from Booking.com that as an exception they were able to reinstate my reservation... Thanks to Comfort Hotel Orléans Olivet's management (Zied) who reassured me straight away by putting my mind at ease and providing me with a room when Booking.com failed to care for their customer... I'm not sure I will use Booking.com going forward... I would suggest dealing directly with the hotel rather than booking.com as customers are valued and cared for...

The staff were lovely, and the ground floor area was as shown. Our room was seriously in need of a refurbishment and was the tiniest Hotel room we (at nearly 70) have ever seen. The staff were lovely, and the ground floor area was as shown. Our room was seriously in need of a refurbishment and was the tiniest Hotel room we (at nearly 70) have ever seen. The shower entrance was at an angle towards the end of one bed. I could kick it shut. The shower door was unable to open fully in the space available. It was hot in the room but raining outside - if we opened the window the rain came straight in towards two electric sockets.

We originally booked another Comfort Hotel, but received a phone call on the day of our check in too inform us due to water issues we were being transferred to the nearest alternative. That was OK as we were going to be driving into Orleans for a visit next day so only added a couple of kms to our journey. The hotel was easy to find and located next to a retail park so finding somewhere to eat was easy although apart from mcdonalds nothing opened till, 7, however that is normal in France. The hotel is definitely been around a while, although our room had received a bit of redecoration was still a bit "tired" around the edges. I think maybe in the past the rooms had been allowed for smoking as there was a hint of old cigarette smoke. We were allocated a ground floor disabled room (although we don't require one). But the wet room was excellent if you needed one and grab handles for the toilet. The toilet brush needs to go in the bin it was horrible! The bed was large with clean sheets and very comfortable mattress. I wouldn't bring much luggage in as there is not a lot of space. But we had two coats and a large rucksack and that was plenty. There is a kettle but we brought extra tbags and milk. Mcdonalds next door so you could always get a hot drink. Would I stay here again? If I only had 40 euros yes, but I think I may pay more for a little more luxury. Also secure free parking was an added bonus.
