“Great value stop over location”
August 2024 one night stay, family of five stayed in two adjoining rooms. We were delighted. Great location, great price and excellent food. Super terrace, nice clean pool with a view. Staff wonderfully friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for a stop over.

“A massive suprise”
We went into Fumel for lunch and the place we were intending to go was closed. The Brit hotel had a restaurant sign outside so we decided to give it ago.. it didn’t look very nice from the outside .. but went through the restaurant and out onto the terrace and it was lovely.. amazing views .. the s… more

“Best hotel lunch ever ”
Stopped in Fumel for lunch on our drive through the Lot Valley. It is a very simple place with a simple dining room. Don’t let that fool you. The best duck confit I’ve ever had. Also the potato cauliflower gratin was amazing. Looking forward to the tart Tatin.

We make a pilgrimage here everytime we are in the area for the lunchtime buffet.
