Great location, friendly staff, lovely food, nice relaxing bar. Massage on site was very relaxing and professional. Wil stay in this hotel again l

“Luxury and a good location”
We just spent a wonderful two nights at the Hotel Le Champlain. We loved the beautiful suite, the excellent bed and linens, but most of all, we enjoyed the downstairs bar and the helpful staff. We had a delightful stay.

“Great Location”
Lovely hotel set in the heart of La Rochelle, big rooms, comfy beds and very nice staff, car parking just across the road and underground not expensive.

“Lovely property, even lovelier staff!”
We had a lovely time at Hotel Le Champlain. The room was perfect, the garden inviting, and all the staff so warm and welcoming. Thank you for making our time in La Rochelle perfect!

“Sorry but not possible”
Yes, it looks fab and romantic — I’ll give them that. But the experience? Oh boy. Our room (the largest and most expensive one, mind you) smelled like garlic drifting up from the restaurant downstairs. Nothing says “luxury escape” like eau de kitchen exhaust. And the room itself? Completely bare. N… more
