“Excellent customer service. It was easy to get everywhere with the metro.”

The room was big enough as expected, the toilet was small tho but didnt matter much because it was tidied properly. The receptionist was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. The location was really great as well. There was just a bit of noise during some work in the morning.

As a British family of four we stayed three nights in the Acadia Hotel family room. There was only one family room to accommodate 4 people (we believe) which was on the ground floor, and consisted of an entrance door, going into a small area where two further doors could be accessed via keys. Hence there was no convenient communal door between the room. One room had twin beds and a bathroom/desk and wardrobe, whilst the other room contained a double bed, bathroom and wardrobe. It a was next to the lift which could be a bit noisy. The room was very clean and maintained as such throughout our stay. The Reception team were very friendly and the nice touch of free croissants/biscuits and crisps in the Reception area after 3pm. Free soft drinks in the mini bar (which were replaced every day), were great too. I think it’s often the small details which set a hotel apart, and this is where the Acadia are very good. There were tissues and a shower cap in the bathroom, free water in the mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a really lovely breakfast every morning. Improvement could come in updating the bathrooms, as they are at least 20 years old (basic but functional). There are lots of restaurants close by. Walk up to Boulevard Poissoniere (5 mins away) for a large selection. Le Louvre was a 2 minutes walk away and CDG airport 30 mins early morning and 1hr 20 mins in the queuing rush hour evening traffic. The highlight of our break was our visit to the top of the Eiffel Tower which we pre booked through TripAdvisor. Great experience and worth every penny. Thank you Hôtel Acadia, and Paris, for a lovely stay.

“Great experience”

Everything was great except for the noise coming from the corridor. The location was practical: tourists sites nearby, a supermarket opposite the hotel and restaurants along the street. However, i suggest the hotel invest more in soundproofing their rooms.

The room is on the ground floor, however there is no external noise, but the bathroom could be better, especially the shower, as well as the double bed. Kudos to the employee Maria: attentive, polite and competent.
