We loved our stay at this hotel. Our room looked out at the Pantheon and the square and we could open our windows and people watch. We loved the Patisserie around the corner and the market. It has lots of restaurants within walking distance and was close to the Metro and Luxembourg Gardens. The staff was amazing. We paid for the breakfast however, and while it was fine, we ended up going around the corner and getting Pan du chocolate, quiche and lattes from the Patisserie and sitting in the small park by the fountain behind the hotel. This is a quiet safe neighborhood, and it felt very Paris.

“Amazing 30th wedding anniversary stay!”

We were in Paris celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Once in our Superior Balcony Room, we were met by a bottle of champagne on ice and a very kind note from the hotel staff. We shared it on the balcony overlooking the Pantheon. The staff here were all so friendly and helpful. Having breakfast brought to our room was an added treat, especially since many hotels in the U.S. have stopped room service. We will absolutely return this gem of an hotel!

My husband and I stayed here for our first visit to Paris and we were so happy we chose Hotel Des Grandes Hommes! It was everything we wanted, and more. The staff were excellent. They were helpful, kind, and spoke English extremely well which was very useful! They were available and at the front desk 24/7, and helped us with maps, restaurant recommendations and music venue recommendations, as well as greeting us with a friendly welcome anytime we passed through the front door, and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was divine. It was gorgeous, with tuile wall coverings and matching draperies, warmly lit bedside lamps, and had ample room for our suitcases and all of our things. The room was spotless and dust-free. I am asthmatic and have allergies, so I’m extra sensitive to allergens like dust and mold and I had no issues at all. The bathroom was modern and also spotless and gorgeous with a large shower and waterfall shower head. Our products were replenished as soon as we needed them. We loved this hotel and we’ll be coming back as soon as we can! It is totally worth the price!

This hotel is a charamasntic, petite place that has so many benefits. Firstly, the photos online do not do this place justice! The rooms are traditional yet have beautiful & modern bathrooms. Beds are really comfy although I did need a further pillow as I thought they were a little flat. We were met at reception by a really amicable gentleman who was full of happiness. He really put us at ease from the moment we stepped into the hotel. He even offered us a room upgrade which we took. The man needs a raise! Location wise, the place is perfect. Lovely quiet neighbour for light sleepers with so many transport links to access. We've been blessed with this place. The hotel is really close to the train station to reach Paris Orly and Paris CDG directly rather than getting on multiple trains. You can get a bus to Eiffel tower/Louvre/Champs Elysees within 15 mins on a bus which is only €2.15 pp. Walking distance to river cruises and Notre Dame although you can easily fetch a bus for these too if needed. If I haven't sold this place enough, you have Luxembourg Park round the corner which is absolutely stunning. Top 5 things to do in Paris. It's a perfect place for a morning walk! (Attached) For the price and location, this place is a steal! Get booking! There's also an incredible crep cafe down the road (Le Creperie) which is well priced.
