“Great location for exploring and watching Eiffel Tower at night!”

Just back from a 3night stay with friends. It was our birthdays so the room had been decorated beautifully! (Our husbands had organised with hotel staff) Staff very hospitable. Anything we needed was quickly got. Honesty bar/fridge in lobby area. Coffee machine worked in same way. We shared a room on the 1st floor with a view out onto the narrow street. Lift held one persons with a suitcase but worked fine. We had a double bed and sofa bed with pull-out under it. Not much room for suitcases when bed was out. Room had a full length mirror, shelving and hanging area with 5 hangers but probably could have asked for more. Tv had Netflix and YouTube etc. Everything was clean and tidy. Good sized bathroom with shower inside the bath. Hairdryer attached to the wall. Plenty of towels. We opted for breakfast - mostly continental- bread/toast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, freshly made pancakes, ham etc. eggs available on request. A couple of French bakeries nearby where we could sit with croissant and a coffee also. Location was perfect for exploring the city. A few local bars and restaurants just a few minutes away but hotel was quiet and away from the noise. A 5 min walk from Trocadero metro and the Trocadero steps where you got a great view of Eiffel Tower. Ozio Italian restaurant on the next street which was really nice. I would definitely stay again if I were back in Paris!

I learned about Hotel Longchamp Elysees from watching the YouTube channel Les Frenchies. If you're not super-familiar with Paris already I recommend you check them out. I was delighted with my selection and, more importantly, so was my husband. Booking was easy. They have an early check in option which I recommend if you have an early morning flight. We arrived on a cold, rainy, windy morning in early March 2024 and immediately felt at ease. The lobby is cozy and just beyond is an antique piano and then a small courtyard. We were greeted warmly and informed the room would be ready at 10:00 am, which is the time early check in begins, but if we wanted to leave our bags and go explore, we could. Our bags were locked in a closet just beyond reception and retrieving them later was effortless. We walked to the Arc de Triomphe and along the Champs Elysees and got lost taking a "shortcut" back, which in a way was fun. Our room was available when we returned before 11:00. My husband used the small lift to take up our bags while I used the spiral stairs. Our room was on the third level (second floor, in France) and the stairs were narrow but easy to navigate. I am in my mid sixties and never found the stairs difficult, but if you have mobility issues, make sure the lift is working. The lift works flawlessly but it is small. My husband and I are average size and the lift was laughingly cozy when we rode it together. The room itself looked over the courtyard; shortly before our arrival, the hotel inquired via email if we wanted courtyard or street view. I would recommend courtyard. The street is narrow and the building across the street not architecturally significant or particularly attractive, and the courtyard is quaint. Our room was okay going from window to bathroom but quite narrow from headboard to the wall-mounted tv. There is a small closet and, when my husband had to cross the room to reach it, he had to angle his body over the bed to avoid hitting the tv. The smallness of the room never distracted from our stay. In some ways it made it even more romantic because it's different from home. But I'm writing this review because I so appreciate all the information others have put on the web, and I want to do my part to give accurate information, not to complain. The room and bathroom were very clean. My husband had informed the hotel that we wouldn't need a change of towels since we reuse our towels at home. After we got there, I realized there were no washcloths, which I have found to be true in a lot of countries outside the US. When I asked for more towels the next day, the staff exchanged them, no problem. I do recommend that if you use a washcloth (or two) everyday as part of your regular routine, bring your own. Just as a note, my husband also told them we wouldn't need the bed made because we regularly make our bed first thing. But later in the stay, when we were beat from touring, we hung the sign on the door and the room was cleaned, the bed made, and the towels refreshed. Such a lovely, lovely staff all around. The hotel is near Trocadero in the 16th Arrondissement. The draw for me was that it was where Les Frenchies had stayed in one of their videos, and gave a favorable review, and that was good enough for me. The 16th doesn't have the nightlife or convenient location of some areas, but it is blessedly quiet, which I needed for sleep. It is also safe, as far as I know. Three nights my husband and I walked back from the Champs Elysees (albeit before 10:00 pm) and never felt threatened. One more thing, we did not choose the breakfast just because we had a breakfast plan set up for the second leg of our trip and I am not a huge breakfast person. However, the small dining area was always clean and the aromas coming from the kitchen very tempting. If you choose this hotel, I hope your stay is as pleasant and memorable as ours.

We had the room only without breakfast, and it was a small room but it was good for what we needed. We had no problems with it at all, had a small shower room and a small cupboard which is perfect for 3 nights away. The staff are really friendly, they even gave us a map and ringed the certain places we could visit albeit we didn't use it. They gave us advice as we were checking out, and told us to book directly through themselves next time as it's cheaper and breakfast costs almost nothing. This hotel is situated in the perfect area, only a short walk to the nearest metro station and short walk to the Eiffel tower. I'd recommend this place if you are only visiting for 3 nights and just sight seeing and shopping. Thank you

Excellent location, comfortable rooms, and very friendly staff. Breakfast was all you’d need to set you up for the day. Just a step away from the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero and a short walk to the Champs-Élysées. Metro station nearby to get to all the attractions Paris has to offer. Would definitely go back to this hotel when we visit Paris again.
