I am so glad we chose this hotel for our visit to Rome. The staff is so friendly and the rooms are small but very comfortable. There is a breakfast for a reasonable cost with coffee, fruit, crossaints, yogurt, and it was lovely. There is a metro stop 6 feet from the door and the concierge (Raphique?) walked us through every step. I would definitely stay here again. It is reasonable and worth every cent. Also, we could see the top of the Eiffel tower from the 5th floor, What a view!

So if you're looking for something large and luxurious with all the frills, this one isn't for you, but if, like me, you just want somewhere clean and comfortable to stay without breaking the bank this one fits the bill perfectly. It's a stone's throw from the Place de la Republique and the lovely Marais district which has a range of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes/budgets, and there's also a metro stop literally outside the front door (just a few stops direct from the Gare du Nord if you're travelling in by Eurostar), so the location is excellent. Staff very friendly and welcoming, with a 24-hour door service should you need it. Rooms are small but spotless, beds very comfortable, wifi fine, not much in the way of soap, shampoo and whatnnot but I always bring my own anyway. Usual continental breakfast perfectly ok, plenty of places nearby if you want something cooked. For the price, very difficult to beat I'd say.

“A good Paris base.”

Very helpful staff. Good location - very near metro and many restaurants within walking distance. Room slightly on the small side but very clean and well equipped. Swift lift available for access to all floors.

This hotel is well located near the republique metro. The republique metro provides access to multiple lines- 3,5,8.9,11 . For me , it is a boon as I rely on metro to get around. This hotel is well located near the republique metro. The republique metro provides access to multiple lines- 3,5,8.9,11 . For me , it is a boon as I rely on metro to get around. With the multiple lines, I can easily use the metro to get to Versailles, to get to opera centre of Paris , the Louvre or to the CDG airport or to go to Gare L’ est train station. The hotel is near the well -lit place republique & 3fast food restaurants (KFC, Macdonald’s , burger King)opposite the road open till the wee hours of the night. As a solo female traveller, I feel safe even when returning to the hotel after nightfall. The hotel comes with a 24 hour concierge service & hotel staff are helpful. I was allowed to check in early at 12 noon. Hotel room is clean, simply decorated in art décor style . A writing table in the room allows one to sit down & check emails or update travel journals. One can also rest in its armchairs in its lounges, decorated in art décor style. Overall, I will recommend this well-located hotel with helpful hotel staff.
