My family of 6 and I stayed here for 4 nights ant the very beginning of August and had a thoroughly wonderful experience at Park Hyatt Vendôme. We have stayed at other hotels in the city before but going forward will be staying nowhere else but here. The service was professional and kind with no detail overlooked. The location is wonderful. It feels like a small boutique but with all the amenities of a huge property. The rooms are beautiful and super comfortable. The food is spectacular. The air conditioning works well. I do not have a single negative thing to say. Thank you so much to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so great!

Our recent anniversary stay at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme was truly exceptional and one of our most memorable hotel experiences! The hotel itself is beautiful, with an incredible location in the 1st arrondissement that makes it an ideal base for enjoying Paris. The rooms are gorgeous, elegant, and exceptionally comfortable, with luxurious toiletries and thoughtful details throughout. Even the hotel’s distinctive signature scent immediately brought back so many wonderful memories from our stays here over the years. There is something very special about returning to a hotel and instantly feeling that sense of familiarity and nostalgia. What stood out above all was the extraordinary attention to detail and genuinely personal service throughout our stay. General Manager Gorka Bergareche deserves tremendous credit. His leadership is reflected in every aspect of the hotel — from the warmth and professionalism of the staff to the remarkable level of personalization and care. It is clear that he has created a culture where exceptional hospitality is the standard. Our anniversary welcome was incredible, with a personalized note from the GM, Mr. Bergareche, balloons, stunning flowers, champagne, a beautiful fruit plate, and numerous thoughtful touches. The highlight was finding beautifully framed photographs of our children (which we had shared with the hotel prior) from our stay at the Park Hyatt in 2013. Seeing those photos more than a decade later was incredibly touching and demonstrated a level of thoughtfulness and personalization that is very rare. A special mention to Dario for helping make these details so memorable. Sandrea at the spa was another standout — incredibly friendly, warm, and professional, and a wonderful reflection of the service throughout the hotel. As Hyatt Globalists, we also greatly appreciated the excellent breakfast benefit. The selection was extensive, and having the flexibility to enjoy breakfast either through room service or in the hotel restaurant was a particularly nice benefit. There are many beautiful luxury hotels in Paris, but what distinguishes the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme is its people. Gorka has built an exceptional team and a culture of hospitality that makes the experience feel genuinely personal. Thank you to Gorka and the entire team for making our anniversary so special. We look forward to returning!

“Great Room Layout, but Service Execution Fell Far Short of Expectations”

We returned to Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme because the room size and layout remain ideal for my family, but this stay fell well short of luxury expectations due to widespread service, maintenance, and operational issues. In-Room Dining & Kitchen Service Food orders were consistently inaccurate, and cooking instructions were not followed (for example, eggs were continuously prepared incorrectly). More concerning, my avocado toast was delivered with spoiled ingredients, which I had to photograph and send to staff to demonstrate the issue. On one occasion, I had to wait for a replacement room service agent to take my order because the initial staff member could not understand basic English instructions. Housekeeping & Room Maintenance Cleanliness and upkeep were major concerns. The bathroom showerheads were aged and heavily calcified, showing a lack of regular descaling or maintenance. On one occasion, housekeeping left behind their cleaning supplies in our bathroom, requiring us to call and ask staff to retrieve them. Additionally, after servicing the room, the team left toilet seats up, exposing clearly visible stains underneath. Service Responsiveness & Attention to Detail Communication through the WhatsApp messaging channel was ineffective. Messages received very slow turnarounds or went unacknowledged until I actively chased the team for updates. Basic guest touches were completely overlooked: rotting fruit was left in our room during daily cleaning. Even after I sent photos to alert the team, no follow-up or replacement fresh fruit plate was offered to rebuild our confidence. Amenities & Logistics Specific coffee mugs were missing from the room setup and had to be requested. Crucially, we emptied the mini-fridge upon check-in to store required medication for our child, yet the fridge system auto-locked twice during our stay. Despite explicitly warning the team after the first lock out that we needed uninterrupted access for time-sensitive medicine, the issue recurred, forcing us to wait for staff to process an electronic override. Concierge & Management Recovery The concierge team lacked proactivity. When requested dining venues were fully booked, staff made no effort to suggest alternatives or assist further; I had to constantly press them for responses. While we appreciated the extended late check-out for our evening flight, management made no effort at check-out to acknowledge or address these repeated mishaps. Unlike a previous stay in 2024 where management took ownership, this team demonstrated a lack of urgency, training, and luxury decorum.
