Having read some of the reviews we arrived with slight trepidation! But in reality we were really pleased with the place. The rooms are not huge, but ours was certainly big enough for two and did not feel cramped. The balcony was a great addition. No oven but a decent hob and a microwave and a big fridge! The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room at a great cool temperature. Straightforward arrangement for checking in after reception was closed, staff helpful, 24 hour access easy and our room was cleaned and the bedding and towels were changed once during the week. The best feature of all was the location.....so close to the Old Town, the Cours Mirabeau and the markets. Wow!!! Let's be honest, somewhere priced reasonably in the middle of Aix is a great find. Yes, the bathroom was small, the cistern was indeed above the toilet (careful after wine!!) and the room was not vast but we thought it was fantastic value and will be back.

“An excellent value-for-money, central hotel in a wonderful city.”

I have stayed at Sejours et Affairs three times now. I usually stay for three weeks. The hotel is very central, There are two supermarkets nearby and several good cafes and restaurants. The breakfasts at the hotel are excellent value for money. I particularly appreciated the work of Tristan, the receptionist, who had an iron and a hairdryer organised for me when I arrived, He also went the extra mile to help me when I had a problem buying a cord for my mobile phone. My hotel room was comfortable. The hotel felt very safe. Altogether I think Sejours et Affairs is an excellent value-for-money choice in a really wonderful city. Can't wait to get back!

“Good value centrally located”

Budget basic accommodation in the centre of Aix. We were really pleased with the location, it was very convenient. The rooms are quite spacious and quiet, and the bed very comfortable. A little shabby in places particularly the bathroom but overall we were happy.

This apparthotel in Aix was quite run down; it is a student studio apartment complex partially converted to studios for temporary stays. The chipped furniture and verneer built-ins weren't exactly inspiring. Thin towels, basic but comfortable bedding. A plus was a super location in walking distance to bus station, train station, restaurants, supermarket, convenience store, & tourist info center across from La Rotunde. It's about 5 blocks from Cours Mirabeau. Another good feature was 2 elevators that were never broken down. The cons: dirty neighborhood streets, cheap furniture, students smoking in front of the place, unfriendly front desk staff lost in their computer, Saturday evening noise from apartments across the street, apartment left to be "cleaned" by prior occupant :-< , insufficient dish liquid to clean the dishes & thus dirty, occasional floor cleaning by staff, clean bedding once every 8 days ~ you tidy up otherwise. I won't be staying there again.
