The place is good, if you are spending time with your family in marseille and planned to stay more than 2-3 days. Location : if you want to stay only for 1-2 day then i would think hotel golden tulip is the best as its closest to the beach than this property. but at Calypso you have mini kitchen to cook and a nearby supermarket, McDonald and Subway. the beach is 25 min walk so you have to be prepared when with kids. and Borley Parc is 10 min walk and its good to place to go for walk and running. Bus station is across the street if you planning to go to downtown, you have to go to prado and then take a Red line and then a blue line, sounds complex but its not bad and the Red line goes directly to St Charles station. if you want to take a TAXI it might cost 25-40 euro. Room : its okay, you will get the basic stuff in your mini kitchen to cook but not bad. A/C is not very good so it might not be very cold but just comfortable enough to sleep. Bath Room : Hot water could switch to cold and again very hot, i don't know why.... Checkout : you have to clean your room the way it was before you checkout. the supervisor is very nice and available when you need. she normally comes at 9AM or so.

“Good for football matches”

Came here for the Euro 2016 in view of being close to the stadium. About 20 minutes walk to the other side and you are at a beautiful beach. Neat clean rooms, though the ladies have many rules made up to facilitate the ladies life, though not enhance the customers experience

This is an apartment residence. Clean and comfortable rooms. Air condition works well and is important in the summer. Wifi is free and works very well. Down side is the distance to the city centre of Marseille. It is located at around 8 km from the city centre. To reach the city centre with public transportation it is necessary to take one bus and two different metro lines (two stops only) (all together costs EUR 2). The bus line stops at around 21:30. If you need to go back to the hotel later than 21:30, the taxi between the last metro station and the residence costs EUR 10. Another disadvantage is the limited opening hours of the reception - check timetable.

I had an apartment with 2 separate bedrooms and a living room and terrace (3th floor). Rooms on top floors are quite, towels are changed only one time in a week, no cleaning or bed sheets change at all . Kitchenette is fullly furnished for 4 pax but enought. You have to prepare all your food including breakfast. Luckly there is a Carfour just on the other side of the street. Air condition is silent and working well. Fridge is very noisy. Avoid rooms on ground floor with street view as they are very noisy.
