I was very happy with my choice to stay here. It is further away from the Eiffel Tower etc but Ubers are reasonable and a good tradeoff for saving on the hotel cost versus the central city hotels. The front desk, bar and restaurant staff are all knowledgeable, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. There are also numerous restaurants within walking distance. My room had a small refrigerator so I could have cold drinks in my room. I would have liked to have the TV have a couple channels in English, but that is not that important to me. During my stay the hotel was not busy so that may have improved my experience.

“Excellent stay”

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this quiet part of Paris, with excellent transport links to the centre. My husband became unwell during our stay and the staff were incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they showed great care and excellent customer service.

I wrote to Joel S, GM, in advance of our stay to indicate the nearly one month of stays upcoming in this Marriott over the next six months. We were treated exceptionally well by Kristine, who was able to give us our room early, having just landed from San Francisco, and always greeted us throughout our stay. She also honored our request for a quiet room. Other staff were friendly but rarely with a smile on their face. Service was excellent and almost everyone understood English. We appreciate the hotels proximity to public transportation and the beautiful park across the street. Areas to improve: - pillows rock hard, even replacements better but not great; - no hooks in the bathroom for towels; - shower drained so slowly that any volume of water turned on caused a large overflow onto the bathroom tile. We had them “fix” the drain after two days but that only lasted another two days! Then we simply called housekeeping to mop up the bathroom; - very little shelves for longer stays; - room cleaning often misses easy stuff like no toilet paper, no Kleenex and no bath gel (they don’t notice that you’ve run out or are low); - wish they’d offer/promote Continental Breakfast at smaller price (28 euro pp seems very high for the full breakfast esp because we were staying 1 1/2 weeks. - As a Marriott special category guest, I expected an upgrade (“subject to availability “) especially with so few overnight guests or at least some acknowledgment of Marriott Gold Status. - Lastly, I wrote to Joel S (General Manager/Director of hotel) and never had ANY response from him or a welcome to the hotel.
