For the apartment 5 suite, you could have good views of the Old Bridge and Heidelberg Castle from the windows ! The hotel is within walking distance to the old town which makes it strategically located ! You will be given passcode to enter the hotel which makes it extremely fuss free to do the check in and check out ! Just take extra care when bringing huge luggage up as the staircase is quite narrow which is quite normal for European standard ! Once you are in the suite, you are greeted with splendid and luxurious decor ! Clean sheet, spacious room and bathroom with huge bathtub with separate shower area with rain shower ! Apartment 5 comes with functional kitchen ! Take cautious when you are in the suite of apartment 5 as it is an attic with beams; the ceiling at certain areas could be quite low so as not to hit your head ! The downside of apartment 5 is that the air con does not seem to be working well even though it is set to high speed 18 degree but we did not feel much of the air con so we ended up opening the windows ! Overalls, it was a comfortable and memorable stay !!

This was an absolutely fabulous find. We saw it online and saw an opportunity to stay close to town. We didn't realise just how perfect it is for the town centre, in a quiet street, and with superb suites with very high quality spec.we booked suite 1 which is on the ground floor and has its own access put on to a shared garden area where all guests can commune. There is a separate table and 2 chairs by the patio area outside the suite for us. The weather was poor so no guests used the outside space, though with double glazing on the windows and doors it is quiet. The arrangement of the space is very good and you enter straight on to a kitchen and dining space with a walk through to the bedroom and turn off to the ensuite. We are pretty fussy about space and how things are arranged and this is well designed and perfectly lovely for a couple who want to be close to town and to cater for themselves. So much close by. We wanted to stay longer which tells you all you need to know. Note there is no oven or microwave but a good cooking surface with two rings and perfectly fine for all basic needs. Very nice.

Pros: Fabulous location, very modern and well equipped (though see Cons below). Awesome view and lovely secluded private courtyard. Wifi was free and fast. Cons: Extremely steep, narrow staircase and no lift (we were on the 4th floor with heavy suitcases). Nobody to greet us on arrival. We rang the number on our booking confirmation and were given the entry passcode and told to make ourselves at home in our suite. Whilst the suite was generally well equipped, there was no teatowel or washing up cloth so we had to buy our own. Not a deal-breaker, but a bit of a pain. Nobody to check out with either, so just left the room unlocked when we departed. I presume I'll get billed eventually... maybe.
