“Good price, good location”

Very convenient if you have business in or around the University. Priced very well. Clean and functional room. Be mindful that there is no air conditioning, which was a bit of a problem during the recent heat wave. Nice restaurant attached to the hotel with an good breakfast.

This was my fifth stay at the Campus Guest properties. I really like this location full of fresh air close to the Blackwood. As usual, the cleanliness meets the requirements. The staff is very nice, helpful and very informative. Especially Engi. Good breakfast, fast wi-fi and large parking space. Unfortunately this time we were supposed to pay for the parking.

“Does what it says on the tin”

The hotel is very convenient for short business trips to the university, but is rather bland and lacking in character. On the plus side the rooms are clean, and the reception is well staffed. The breakfast room has a canteen feel, but there is plenty of choice.

The standard is not the strongest side of this hotel - in my room the carpet was full of holes and stains. The equipment is worn out. Breakfast buffet, with typical German dishes, certainly everyone will find something for themselves. However, the location is a huge plus, if you have something to do on the university campus it's hard to find a better place to stay!

This hotel is fine when you have business at the University. There would be no point in staying here otherwise.The room was a bit like a dormitory room with a small bathroom, but clean and well heated. Like many German hotels the room had an undersized comforter (duvet) which slid off during the night.The WiFi was good, the included breakfast had a good selection (although not many hot options appealing to Americans). The hotel restaurant is a bit grim -- there is an Italian restaurant (not bad) and a Greek restaurant (I didn't try it) about 400 meters away. The hotel was very quiet except for a bit of road noise because my room was at the end of the building.If you are arriving on the S-Bahn, the hotel is a bit tricky to find in the dark even though it's only 150 meters away. There are also two exits from the S-Bahn so if your cell phone doesn't work underground, ask someone.
