“Pleasant stay with good transport links”

The hotel was good value for the money we paid. We stayed in a Fitters' / Hostel room in the basement and it was clean and had loads of storage, two metal wardrobes with hanging space and drawers, a desk with a couple of small drawers and two small bedside cabinets. We were checked in quickly on arrival and were provided with physical key cards, but we mainly used a digital key on my phone. The bathrooms are not shared, every room has their own, and the bathrooms were great, other than needing extra places to hang towels. The hotel can be accessed easily using the U12 service from Stuttgart main station (Stuttgart Hbf) to Bottroper Strasse station, or by getting a train or tram to Bad Canstadtt) and the then 56 bus, which runs regularly, at around 10 minutes intervals during the day and late into the evening, it drops you at the Lidl next to the hotel. The worst we can say about MK Hotel Stuttgart is that the pillows were annoyingly thin, and the rooms warm in the evening, but we're were there when the temperature was very high, and that the Manager recommended a launderette further down the road that cost a small fortune for a few t-shirts and some underwear. You can walk down the stairs near the old cavalry barracks to get into Bad Canstadtt easily, or walk a slightly longer route down through an old foundry looking up into the vineyards and this can be accessed near the front of Lidl or the back left of the old barracks. Bad Canstadtt town is quaint and picturesque, with plenty of places to eat and drink, but Sophie's Brew house was the best. Have some cash, as not all places in Stuttgart take card payments.

“Basic European Hotel”

Not a lot of frills but front desk speaks English. They have breakfast which is good. Internet is slow. Ample parking in back for guests (for a few). Not a lot of frills but front desk speaks English. They have breakfast which is good. Internet is slow. Ample parking in back for guests (for a few). Housekeeping a little noisy during service so if you jet lagged and need a nap, that could be a problem. Everything worked as it should. Good quality linens. Location is in older section of the city and nearby grocery and a few restaurants none of which are remarkable.

The room was ok nothing spectacular, breakfast was €7.50 each and none of it looked appealing, eggs looked like they had been there all morning and bacon was dripping in fat we didn't even consider the other items that were out as there was flys flying all over it. The room was ok nothing spectacular, breakfast was €7.50 each and none of it looked appealing, eggs looked like they had been there all morning and bacon was dripping in fat we didn't even consider the other items that were out as there was flys flying all over it. We had a yoghurt and a juice none of which we thought was worth the money. The room was ok I wouldn't stay again, the level of cleaning wasn't up to scratch and the pillow wasn't the best.
