“Alright for what it is.”

I stayed at this hotel four years ago, nothing has changed, the rooms are clean and tidy, housekeeping is good, bedclothes and towels changed frequently. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ample, coffee is nice, and yes I will stay here again.

We stayed in the new section twice during September and October. The new buildings are nice although moving around can be an issues due to the signage. We stayed in the new section twice during September and October. The new buildings are nice although moving around can be an issues due to the signage. Issues include: - Room #1 has a serious problem in that if the curtains are open, people in the street can see into the bathroom. The mirror and open slats provide no privacy - The slats in the other new rooms also provide no privacy into the bathroom - The biggest issue was the constant failure of the RFI door keys. As the hotel is not manned at all hours, there is a real risk of being locked out at night. The failure rate we had was in excess of 50% - The shower needs a shelf or rack to hold personal items - The bed reading lights should operate on either side of the bed, not both on at the same time and the timer to be removed. Currently there is turn off timer for some strange reason - Apart from the above, the facilities are very good and the spa area is excellent - Whilst it was rarther cold and wet during our stay, we do understand there is no air conditioning in place. Given the amount spent on these new buildings, you would have thought this would have been included. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HOTEL RATINGS BELOW ARE NOT CORRECT AS UNABLE TO CHANCE THE ALREADY ENTERED RATING. ALL 3 WOULD GET 4 STARS.

Historic hotel in city centre of Bad Neustadt. The building is quite old, which has some charm, but unfortunately the rooms were little atmospherical. Furthermore it was quite noisy, which is however expected for such an old building. The terrace outside is cozy, and the receptionists were very kind and helpful. I liked that they were dressed in traditional clothing. Breakfast was nothing special, a bit disappointing. Parking is available next to the hotel. Overall the stay was fine, but I would not be tempted to come back.
