Spent 3 nights at Hotel Sommer. The location is beautiful, and we enjoyed an afternoon sunbathing by the pool and were impressed that the outdoor pool is heated. The hotel was good, the staff friendly and welcoming and our room was spacious. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. On arrival day, we arrived too late for dinner, but we were able to choose from the salad buffet and given complementary drinks and desserts. Breakfast was great with a wide choice of options. Great cocktail menu too.

We've just spent 3 nights at the Sommer haus Hotel Füssen with our dog. We've had a fantastic stay! The room was on the ground floor with access to the garden for our dog, and we didn't even have to ask. The room was comfortable and very clean. We would have liked tea making facilities but no big problem. Breakfast had a great selection at the buffer. Maybe another coffee machine as there was a queue. We had dinner with our dog in the bar, which was great. The food was amazing. Tomahawk steak served at our table was fabulous. We'd especially like to thank the bar staff Mohammed especially and his colleague. They both made our stay extra special. Really attentive and friendly guys. The hotel should be proud to have such great members of staff. Thanks again for a great stay. We also walked 18 kms from the hotel to the two castles through amazing scenery and a walk into Füssen. We'll definitely be back!

A lovely hotel with great facilities. The staff were welcoming and a special mention for Mohammed behind the bar who was very kind to us when we needed assistance. A lovely hotel with great facilities. The staff were welcoming and a special mention for Mohammed behind the bar who was very kind to us when we needed assistance. Breakfast fantastic although there isn’t a toaster (this caused distress to my travel partner!!!!). Reception didn’t always speak good English but that was our problem not theirs. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk to Fussen and taxis are €10 one way - often taking a while to arrive. Also you can’t seem to pre order a taxi - we walked to the train station on our departure rather than risk it with a taxi. Hotel is great for bike hire and boat trips. We received the Fussen card which gives you free bus transport and money off certain attractions, and money off bike hire and boating when booked with the hotel. All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel.

“No a/c, not luxurious”

None of the rooms had air conditioning, and even the common areas and dining room were stagnant and stuffy. None of the rooms had air conditioning, and even the common areas and dining room were stagnant and stuffy. The minimalism of the room’s decor felt too spare and not luxurious in relation tho the price. Finding it at night is very hard, too. Overall, we could’ve stayed elsewhere for the same or less price and had far better accommodations.
