A superb hotel, high quality but with a family feel. Food was very good each night and the small lunch certainly isnt that, it was like being in an all exclusive. The cheese buffet each night must have at least 50 cheeses Walkable into Garmisch centre and very central for the key sites in the beautiful area surrounding. Wellness was top quality and spotless though maybe another entrance to the outdoor pool / sunbed area for those not wanting to walk by naked bodies to get there? Staff were very friendly throughout and helped make the stay so good. When you look att he room cost which includes the meals and the wellness area, it is very good value for money Thank you will recommend to all our friends

We had an amazing 8 night stay at this fantastic resort. We had a larger family suite, it was perfect for our family of four. Although I wish they had two doubles instead of a king in the second bedroom for our teens. - The food was amazing. Huge selection for breakfast and lunch buffets, including desserts. We loved the breads, omelet bar and orange juice machine. We never got tired of the 5 course dinners - very filling and delicious. - Casino night, live music on the weekend. - Spa facilities were great with many saunas and steam rooms. - Staff very friendly and helpful. - Great location, close to many attractions. Overall, we felt taken care of during our stay. I did not want to leave!!

“Great staff and great spa”

Where do I begin? Let's start the staff. Upon arrival the front desk was helpful and gave us all the info about the hotel, meals, spa and room. Then our first night there we went to dinner and I swallowed my drink wrong and all of sudden I had a hard time breathing. I had stridor. The staff made sure I was ok and took me outside to see if that would help. It did a little. Then went to the lobby where the manager of the property Olaf personally make sure I was ok and stayed with me and my husband. We decided to call the ambulance and looking back it wasn't needed. But to be on the safe side. Everything went well. The next day all the staff made sure I ok and checked on me. For dinner the next night, I didn't want to go to the restaurant as I was a little embarrassed so Olaf took our order and personally delivered our meals. So wonderful. The food is very tasty. Thank you to the staff for making sure I was ok. Now, for the hotel. The room was a great size with a balcony. Just wish it wasn't cloudy so we could see the mountains. The bathroom is a little small but the water pressure in the shower is perfect. The bed was so comfy. There is a shuttle that can take us where we wanted to go so we booked to the Top of Germany at the hotel and the shuttle took us to the train station and after, we called and he picked us up at the train station. The spa!!! The spa is great! It has an outdoor heated pool which is so relaxing. Several saunas with different temps. Steam rooms also with different temps too. There is also an indoor pool and hot tub and more saunas. Lounges to relax in and drinks and fruit to stay hydrated. We enjoyed it both nights we were there. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Hotel.

We had a superb 6 nights in a family alpine suite at Obermuhle in August. Because of issues with our daughter's passport, we had had to delay our visit by a few days. The hotel were extremely kind and accommodating and rearranged our booking for us. The hotel facilities were exceptional and kept us and our two children (7 and 5) very happily entertained. The food was always very good, with plenty of choices. Our kids did struggle a bit sitting through a long evening meal each night, although on several of the evenings they were distracted by the entertainment or craft packs that were provided by the staff. What made this holiday so incredible though were the staff. They really were so very friendly and helpful. We were greeted warmly the first night and given a selection of cold cuts and bread, despite not arriving until almost midnight. We used the shuttle service every day and very much enjoyed our chats with the drivers, who were always happy to offer advice or suggestions. And a huge thank you to the gentleman at the front desk (I am so sorry I didn't get your name) who always helped me practice my (poor) German. Many thanks to everyone at the hotel, it was an absolute joy staying there.
