From the moment we arrived until the moment we reluctantly checked out, everything about our stay was exceptional. DO & CO Hotel Munich is the definition of modern luxury combined with genuine hospitality. The location simply couldn't be better—right next to Marienplatz, yet surprisingly peaceful. It was the perfect base for exploring Munich on foot, with all the major attractions, restaurants, and shopping just steps away. Our room was beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was evident everywhere, from the high-quality amenities to the exceptionally comfortable bed. Despite being in the very center of the city, the room was wonderfully quiet, allowing for a perfect night's sleep. What truly sets this hotel apart is its team. Every member of the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. Their hospitality felt natural rather than scripted, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit. The culinary experience was equally impressive. Breakfast was outstanding with excellent quality and variety, and the hotel's restaurants are destinations in their own right. Every meal reflected the high standards that DO & CO is known for. We've stayed at many luxury hotels around the world, and DO & CO Munich ranks among the very best. “The place to stay in Mūnchen.”

My partner and I stayed in the Do & Co Hotel in June 2026. It was my first trip to Munich but my partner had spent a year in Munich during his university years 28 years ago. We chose the Do & Co because it looked like a good location to base ourselves for our 8 day trip; in hindsight, an excellent decision. We stayed in 301 which is a corner suite. From the moment of arrival, this hotel welcomed us. Its outside appearance is crisp and clean and inside it had a boutique feel with a small and impeccably kept reception. Check in was swift, efficient and welcoming and we were offered a glass of prosecco to take to the room with us. We were escorted to our suite and were given a quick explanation of the facilities. There is nothing I can say about this suite apart from the fact it took us several minutes to take it all in. The Hotel Management knew in advance that this was a special trip and we were met with a small bottle of champagne, macaroons and fruit along with a handwritten welcome message which really made a difference. We never used the 1st floor Restaurant due to our itinerary but in the ground floor Bistro we enjoyed breakfast every day, we dined there for dinner on two evenings and we enjoyed beers outside. We had the breakfast package with our room and all I can say is that there was too much food! First you have to e coffee or tea, then a choice of juice or a smoothie, a bowl of fruit or granola (a meal in themselves), an egg dish, a tray of breads including croissants is brought to the table and finally (as if you need any more) a cake stand with smoke salmon, cheeses, meat and chutney and jam is presented. Honest advice: just buy your breakfast daily, choosing what you want without overdoing it. The location of this hotel is perfect. From our room we could more or less reach out and touch the wall of the Frauenkirche. The area is very civilised and sophisticated and yet just a 3 minute walk from Marienplatz. From what I saw in Munich, many hotels seem to nearer to the Hauptbanhof (main station) but Do & Co is located in a much nicer area. The room / suite is also so quiet and the electric blackout blinds (and massive bed) allow a very deep sleep. Finally, I would like to mention the staff. We interacted with reception staff, restaurant staff and housekeepers and everyone was professional, friendly and welcoming. Not “in your face” but just really approachable. I find that most of the time contributors need to say something critical in a review so hear I go: the elevator is fine when you are in it but it can have a mind of its own when you summon it from reception. I had to work hard to find something to complain about. My partner and I have stayed in some expensive hotels and I haven’t contributed to Trip Advisor for a few years but I needed to say something about Do & Co because it needs to be seen. I have no hesitation it recommending this amazing hotel.
