The young woman checking me in was amazing. I believe her name was Cielo (I think I butchered the spelling.) she was very kind and professional, she was also kind of training a student. She handled my request perfectly. I love the fact she recognized my status with IHG and offered me an upgrade without me having to ask. She really made me feel welcome. The hotel was fine with a good location. I did not use the bar although for a Holiday Inn it looked quite fun and was very busy.

I stayed here for a total of 3 nights in January of 2026. It was actually two separate stays at the beginning and end of a trip. So, I was in two different rooms. I had a good experience both times. Here is what I would share: Breakfast is not included in the rate I had. I paid 31 Euros for it. It was pretty good and had a lot of choice. I had a room with a "stocked" minibar that was free. This included two Twix bars, a bottle of Coke, a bottle of Coke zero, and a bottle of water. There is a sauna that is open from 5 to 10 PM only. It consists of a 65 degree sauna and a 90 degree sauna. There was also a fitness room. The hotel is connected to the Rosenheimer Platz stop by an underground small shopping area. The small shopping area includes two supermarkets (Aldi and Hit), a small bakery and some other stores. There is also a pharmacy on the level above you can reach. Getting to all of the sites in Munich is pretty easy. Many of the main sites can be walked while the ones farther way are an easy subway ride. The airport is also a pretty easy subway ride as well.

The hotel is a short walk from Rosenheimer Platz train station so a direct train from the airport is a convenient choice. There's also a direct underground path from the station to the hotel through the mall, including a lift to the reception. There's a very good supermarket there with all one may need. I stayed for 1 week in room 628. There are 11 floors. The room and the hotel were always clean. The room was spacious enough with a well-equipped and maintained bath. However I was told that there are minibars "only in the executive rooms". Pillows were either too thin or too thick so sleeping quality was mediocre. The airconditioning system was set to heating mode so no option to cool or ventilate the room other than opening a window although temperatures reached 22 deg celsius. Food quality and quantity at breakfast were very good with lots of choice as can be seen in the photos. This variety didn't change much through my stay. Staff was friendly but didn't seem to be able to handle non-trivial matters. Wifi was reasonably well until it failed exactly one week from my arrival. Checked it a bit later at the nearby Deutsches museum and it was fine. Is it a hotel policy?

A very competent hotel; nothing flash or amazing; just works well on a few levels. Location is not quite in the centre of Munich, but near enough. A very competent hotel; nothing flash or amazing; just works well on a few levels. Location is not quite in the centre of Munich, but near enough. Get off at Rosenheimer Platz and follow the signs to the hotel - you don't have to come out onto the street (although I did). You'll pass a large supermarket, which is convenient if self-catering. If not, there are plenty of dining options - fast-food or nice dining - very close by. It's a busy hotel, catering to the mass middle-market for tour groups and business travellers like myself. Rooms are functional if not stylish. Clean and low noise from the street. Service is efficient at the front desk.
