A modest hotel in the suburbs of Munich. Close to an underground station and connected by bus. Good breakfast served by pleasant staff in a nice spacious area . Rooms are small but well maintained

Handy location close to the metro. Good value during Oktoberfest. Staff spoke great English on reception. There was a bit of communication breakdown on the bill and leaving but all got sorted remotely, next time I'd pay on arrival. Room size was good but no AC. Thankfully it wasn't too hot at nig… more

There was a bit of communication breakdown on the bill and leaving but all got sorted remotely, next time I'd pay on arrival. Room size was good but no AC. Thankfully it wasn't too hot at night. Breakfast was nice but a little limited for English tourists. We loved Munchen and the Oktoberfest was great fun. Interesting to see all the traditional outfits and the beautiful building's. I'm really interested in visiting Bavaria again and would use this hotel as a base again for a slightly longer stay

If you are looking for an cost efficient hotel option in the outskirts if Munich, then this might be your choice. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast works for every German with fresh buns and cappuccino on request. The rooms are simple but work. The appliances in the bathroom could do with some upgrades but they do make a clean impression. Rooms on the roadside are very noisy. And if you are there during summer then remember that they do not have air-conditioning (or automated ventilation). It will get hot if you are on the highest, third floor.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Hotel Santis for four nights while in Munich. Overall we had a great stay and really appreciated the friendly staff! Some things to note below: Pros: The hotel was clean and a very close 7 minute walk to the U-Bahn station (just a quick 15 minute ride into Marienplatz). The staff was very helpful, especially in helping us book an airport taxi when leaving (the airport is quite far outside the Munich center). The breakfast selection is WONDERFUL and had such lovely staff setting tables and offering to make coffee for us each morning. Cons: The rooms could use some updating and was a bit humid. There is a thick green carpet that makes the room appear a little old-fashioned.
