Great, central location. Very friendly welcome from Front Desk. Unfortunately, I didn't get the person's name, but they were very warm & welcoming and kindly facilitated my early check-in even though I was happy to just leave bags. Great, central location. Very friendly welcome from Front Desk. Unfortunately, I didn't get the person's name, but they were very warm & welcoming and kindly facilitated my early check-in even though I was happy to just leave bags. Room was spacious and well equipped. Good shower, clean and airy. No disturbance from outside noise even though, and I was overlooking the train station side of the property. Bar was lacking a bit of atmosphere, but the bartender working was very pleasant and attentive without being OTT, considering it was very quiet. Would gladly stay again.

We spent eight wonderful nights at this hotel and from the very first moment felt genuinely welcome. There was an immediate sense of warmth and care that made us feel not just like guests, but truly appreciated. Our room was clean and very spacious, which was especially important to us and had a positive impact on our overall comfort and relaxation throughout the stay. Breakfast was excellent – delicious, varied and thoughtfully prepared. We would especially like to mention a young waiter from the breakfast service who, if we remember correctly, is named Philipp. He truly stood out with his warmth, constant smile and sincere willingness to help. His positive attitude and genuine joy in his work were noticeable every single morning. It would mean a lot to us if our gratitude could be passed on to him, and we truly believe that the hotel should recognize his work as outstanding. The spa area was wonderful and perfect for deep relaxation – a place where you can completely unwind. These eight days were an amazing combination of rest, relaxation and joy. Spending the New Year in such a warm, elegant and welcoming atmosphere made our stay truly special. We leave with beautiful memories and would be more than happy to return.

“Good solid option”

This is decent hotel in good location. Nothing real special about the hotel. Service is good. Clean. Windows are extra insulated to keep the noise out. You get a good night sleep. I would yay here again nothing wrong with the hotel just did not wow me. .

We’ve stayed in this property 5+ times over the last couple of years and it continues to amaze how consistently many annoying little things go wrong. This time the AC didn’t work at all (no matter what temp you set it to, it didn’t do anything), the room standup lights didn’t work no matter what combination of switches I tried, the handles in one elevator were pulled out of the wall, room with missing hand and face towels, and the front desk staff had no clue about late night pharmacies when we needed one (you’d think that was something every front office staff member should have immediate access to). Add to this the ongoing annoyance with confusing and hard to use bathroom faucets (those tiny knobby things are hard to use with my old hands) and the revolving front door that stops in the middle no matter what you do (you might as well take down those ‘don’t push’ signs, it’s often been the only way to get out). We’ve stayed here in the past because it’s conveniently located for the train station, although the area feels rougher than in the past - a regular issue with European central stations and not the hotel’s fault - but there are now other options such as the NH on the opposite side of the station. For the premium price you pay, I expect there to be more polish and fewer bugs. We arrived to check in at 14:45 and were told we couldn’t have our room until 15:00 “because it hadn’t yet been inspected”. Apparently it was inspected by 15:00 but I wonder what shape it would have been in if it hadn’t.
