My family and I stayed at the NH Collection München Bavaria in July, and it was an excellent place to stay. We had just arrived after a very long flight, so the location, only a very short walk from Munich’s main train station, was extremely convenient. We arrived quite early in the morning, and the hotel was able to make one of our two rooms available for an early check in, which was greatly appreciated after such a long journey. As a family of five, we needed to spread across two rooms, but the hotel was able to place the rooms quite close to each other. The rooms were excellent, very clean and comfortable, with good curtains and blinds, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and plenty of towels. The rooms were compact, but very well presented and had everything we needed. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the superb buffet breakfast. It was easily the best breakfast we had during our entire trip. There was an enormous selection of both fresh and cooked food, including a chef preparing omelettes to order, soft and hard boiled eggs, fresh juices, yoghurts, cheeses, cold meats and plenty of fresh fruit. There was also an excellent range of breads and toast, gluten free options, and a huge selection of teas and coffees. The variety and quality were exceptional and made for a wonderful start to each day. The reception staff were also very helpful whenever we had questions. There were lots of small touches that made the stay particularly pleasant, including fresh apples available for guests. There was a small gym on our floor with fresh cold water and apples, and in the afternoon there was fresh lemon water in reception along with some lollies for the children. Munich was very hot during our stay, so having cold water readily available was especially welcome. The location is also very convenient for getting around Munich. There is a tram stop directly outside the hotel, making it easy to travel into the city and across towards the river and attractions such as the Deutsches Museum. Overall, this was a very comfortable, clean and well located hotel with helpful staff, an outstanding breakfast and some thoughtful extra touches. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Munich.

The location of the hotel was perfect for all forms of transport around the city as well as transfers to and from the airport. I would recommend the MVGO app as it makes travel simple to use. The reception team were very efficient and answered any queries during or stay very courteously. The room was perfect for our needs. The bed was very comfortable and the layout of the room was suitable for our needs. We were pleased to participate in the sustainable housekeeping option as it reflected our stance on environmental issues. The breakfast was more than we anticipated as it catered for all tastes and dietary needs. Generally the staff in the hotel were welcoming and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend the hotel to others.

The hotel is centrally located across the street from the HBF. The staff was great to work with, allowed us to check in early, held our bags after our checkout, and were helpful in making recommendations. Our stay at NH Hotel Munich was reasonable. We had arrived after a long flight early in the morning. The rooms were quiet and clean and air conditioned - we had a superior room with a view and the size of this type of room is not too bad. The bathroom was small and ok - reasonably functional. In these respects it met our needs well. We had seen from some other reviews that the location was not ideal and whilst we didn’t think that would worry us it did. Coming into the hotel was always unpleasant - lots of people hanging around and smoking around the entrance all the time as there is a major entrance to the railway station right outside. Construction around the hotel as well. On the plus side we were not bothered by noise despite the business of the area. Would give 4 stars if it was in another location but it is where it is. We would probably stay elsewhere next time
