A City Break in Berlin, I stayed for three nights in this hotel and I’m happy because I choose them, close to the airport and all other tourist attractions. Friendly staff, clean and warm rooms I felt welcome! Thank you! 👌🏻

“Hotel that is the definition of budget!”

So, yes, they say you get what you pay for, but I’ve stayed in better places for the same price. Hotel is small inside and has 10 floors. Easy enough to check in. Not so easy to get to your room. One lift working and is literally like a box inside. Very slow. Would of been quicker using the stairs… more

One lift working and is literally like a box inside. Very slow. Would of been quicker using the stairs, when you eventually work out where they are. Funny smell (kinda like sewerage) from the hallway. But ok once inside your room: Room was very basic. Very low beds that were put together to look like a double. Mattress was rubbish. Mine had a dent in it that I had to try and sleep at a funny angle to avoid it. Pillow was like non existent. Was almost like they’d stuffed it with cotton wool and left the rest of the pillow case empty. You may as well of slept on the floor as the mattress was hard and you was lying flat as a pancake on it. I struggled to get out of bed. I will say that the rooms were clean and tidy, could do with being updated though as they look a bit drab. Shower was ok. Although to me that was a luxury as I don’t have a shower unit at home. Easy to work. Nothing much on the tv unless you understand german. WiFi is ok, no issues with that. Didn’t eat at the hotel we didn’t pay for food. Dining room looked basic though. Small bar at the entrance. One good thing was that they had a luggage hold room, at no extra cost. As we had a late flight, we didn’t want to lug our suitcases around all day so that was handy. Location was great, underground was right across the street and easy to get to where you needed to. Couple of restaurants on the door step and shops. I give the 3 stars for the location, clean rooms, and the handy luggage room. So overall, easy to get to, straight forward check in but just uncomfortable beds, out dated rooms and a very slow lift!! Would say it’s ok if you just using to get your head down at night and can put up with the bed for a couple nights..

We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel, and had breakfast every morning. We are a budget traverlling student couple. The room was decent at best, comparing to european standards. However, it was clean and had everything we as travelers needed. Seeing as we are used to travelling more remote areas of this world (Africa, SE Asia etc) we had low expectations, and were very much surprised after reading other reviews on here. This is a pretty good room. Carpet looks dirty, but the room is clean. Shower is annoying but that's not really an issue. Toilet was otherwise functioning and clean. The bed was pretty decent, albeit very short. Breakfast was decent at best, and the only upside was that it was a buffet. Quality was low, and probably not on par with prices, but considering quantities i guess it was okay (i ate my share). Sometimes there were croissants and cakes, which were pretty good. Selections were scarce. Service at the hotel was okay, nothing special. Elevator was annoying. All in all worth the money.
