My husband and I stayed here for four nights, arriving late one evening and finding the pre-provided lock box instructions easy to follow. The location is great, just off a u-bahn stop, so easy to get to from the airport. The room was huge, with nice neutral decor, a super-clean bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen and big double-glazed windows facing the road. We were in the middle of a heat wave of 30+ degrees daily, so the thoughtful addition of a fan that really moved air around was most welcome. Would suggest a split system air conditioner if these temperatures continue for your summers!! But the fan was enough to move the air around, and the curtains did have some block-out qualities (coming from Australia, we are not that fond of the sun!!). A really nice place to stay, so well equipped, walking distance to some nice restaurants, easy to get on and off public transport and situated on a pleasant, wide avenue that was never too busy or too noise. Highly recommended.

“Very nearly perfect...”

I was fortunate enough to stay in another of the company's apartment/properties late last year and it was excellent, which prompted me to try this property this time around. There is a limited reception, therefore we received information prior to arriving which detailed how to enter the property and get our keys - it all worked perfectly for us, but another party just behind us did have some issues but they seemed to get it sorted after a few minutes. Our apartment was clean and had all the expected amenities including cooking hob, microwave, kettle, fridge and toaster. Tiny capsules of milk were supplied which meant we could make a cup of tea before heading to the nearby Aldi which was around 10 minutes walk away. The property is just over 5 minutes walk from the u-Bahn (line 6) and there is an s-Bahn station a little further away. Easy to get into the centre of Berlin and everywhere else given the excellent public transport. There was no air-conditioning, but as we had an apartment with a balcony, we could tilt the doors open (whilst still locked) to cool things down. The bathroom was clean with good pressure in the shower and it being a decent size. TV was a good sized flat panel although not many English channels although I wouldn't expect many in Germany! WiFi was easy to connect without any captive portals, and strong enough to stream Netflix. All in all, a very pleasant stay. We checked out before reception opened and were told to just leave the key in the room. Staff, where we saw them, were very friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. Only knocked off one dot because one of the duvet covers had a small rip in it - not an issue at all, but to get a 5 with me, everything needs to be perfect - it very nearly was. Highly recommended - I will be back next time I am in Berlin!

“over rated”

I was booking this place for me and my 3 Sisters it was a birthday surprise as 1 of them was turning 60. Also 2 of them where coming from Canada. So as you would except i wanted somewhere nice. I was booking this place for me and my 3 Sisters it was a birthday surprise as 1 of them was turning 60. Also 2 of them where coming from Canada. So as you would except i wanted somewhere nice. So after reading the reviews on this place i booked us in for 4 nights. I have never been so embarrassed i had asked for a room with at leased 2 double beds as we a ladies of a curtain aged we couldn't sleep in a pull out bed. When we went into the room. there was a pull out bed and 1 double bed. the floor was dirty it was black and sticky. the bathroom tiles the grout was black instead of white.and dust thick on the kitchen worktops the mold was really bad. i asked about a different room. But it was full booked. the next morning after a really bad night of no sleep, i was offered a different room in another part of the place which was under refurbishment it was 4 flights of stairs no lift and dust and paint fumes. the room looked ok but there was someone in the room but they "where leaving that day" i think it was members of staff staying there. We refused it. Dont book their transport to or from the airport as it was a total mess Our flight was 11.45 We booked the transport for 9am when we eventually got in touch with the driver he informed us it was booked for 11.45. All in all the place is a mess the room are disgusting, dirty, and full of mold on the kitchen tiles. And its not as if it was cheap and i got what i paid for. The only good thing is its not a bad location.
